The Mortician's Daughter. •DXC• One-Shot.
How long has it been?
2 years.
2 long years without him. The Juvy who tore my hati, tengah-tengah apart and stomped on it a million times. Whenever I looked into the crystal mirror I tried to smile, but I could never ever make the corners of my mouth rise.
"Courtney?" Bridgette's worried voice asked.
I was in the bathroom, fixing myself up for this konsert Bridgette berkata I would just love. But, how can I Cinta if I'm a insensitive robot? As Duncan said, when we broke up.
News filled TV's about Duncan. He was the leadsinger of his band,"The Snitchel Kickers". They were a hit with all the Punks and Goths around the world. I listened to one of their tracks for Closure and immediately fell in Cinta with them! Even though my Ex was the leadsinger.
"Calm your blonde little head, Bridgette." I remarked as I pulled a strand of hair behind my ear.
I tried to smile. But, couldn't. Because I knew Duncan would be the opening act at the konsert Bridgette and I were going too. Bridgette insisted she didn't know I was talking about. But, I've read many romace novels. And I know what schemes your best Friends have when you've been through a break up: Get them together again!
Whatever. Not happening.
"Okay. I'm done." I uttered as I forced the door open. Bridgette was grinning wildly behind all the glitter on her Tan Surfer skin. I couldve sworn I was going to a konsert with Ke$ha.
"You look great." She complimented.
"Whatever. Lets go, already."
She nodded and walked over to her teal colored sofa, kerusi panjang and grabbed her small purse. I looked away from the couch; knowing I would only recieve lebih memories of the Juvy Boy.
The Loud Muzik almost burst my eardrums. Man, Rock was intense.
"There's Geoff," Bridgette blushed. "I'll see anda later!" She walked over to Geoff who looked like he was already hungover.
"Hey, anda 'Princess'?" I turned to the russet voice. It was a dark man. He wore a Black Tee that fit his muscular body perfectly. He also sported a pair of dark black shades.
"Um, yeah?" I replied unsure.
He smiled and grabbed my wrist. Pulling me into the backstage area. Nerves overfilled me. Where was this guy taking me?
He shoved me into the small area behind the curtain. A boy about 16—A roadie— was working the control panels and amps.
"Stay here and watch." He commanded.
Me—being the awkward, easily frightened girl— I stayed put and watched as the curtain was slowly opening. The crowd was going wild. I cringed at the sudden shrill of the guitar.
Then... There stood Duncan. My bad boy. The only person who made my hati, tengah-tengah pound harder than anyone else. His dark locks covered his right eye. He wore a Red jaket with a Black t-shirt that said,"You suck." along with Black jeans and black converse.
"Hello, Ontario!" Duncan shouted into the microphone.
Everyone let out another scream of overjoyment.
"Alright.. Alright... Calm down. This little song goes out to a girl, I made a huge mistake with. Courtney, Come on out!" He glanced over at me. His Electric teal eyes shocking me.
I stumbled onto the stage; recieving small chuckles and laughs.
"Im sorry." He murmured in my ear. He then looked over at his bandmates and gave them a signal.
Soon... He was singing.
"I open my lungs dear,
I sing this song at funerals, no rush.
These lyrics heard a thousand times, just plush.
A baby boy you've held so tightly, this pain it visits almost nightly.
Missing hotel beds I feel your touch.
I will await dear,
A patient of eternity, my crush.
A universal still, No rust.
No dust will ever grow on this frame,
One million years I will say your name.
I Cinta anda lebih than I can ever scream.
Booked our flight those years ago,
I berkata I Cinta anda as I left you.
'Grets still haunt my hollow head,
I promised anda I will see anda again.
Again.
I sit here and smile dear,
I smile because I think of you, I blush.
These bleeding hollow dials, this fuss.
Fuss is made of miles and travels when roadways are but stones and gravel.
A bleeding hati, tengah-tengah can conquer every crutch.
Booked our flight those years ago,
anda berkata anda loved me as anda left me.
'Grets still haunt your saddened head but I promised anda I will see you.
Booked our flight those years ago,
I berkata I loved anda and I left you.
'Grets no longer in my head,
But I promised anda and now I'm utama again, again, again, again, again, again.
I'm utama again."
Our lips met.
"In utama again." Duncan laughed as he repeated the last lyric.
I blushed deep crimson. "We're both utama again."

Courtney's POV
I knew that Owen still was behind the pyramid, trying to get his pants on AGAIN, cuz they (again) fell off, and all the girls thught that he had got them on (again) and when they saw him, they all screamed (again!) and covered their eys (again!).
"Hey Bridgette!" i yelled at my best friend.
She berkata goodbye to Geoff, and walked up to me.
"What's up?" she asked
"Uhm Bridgette. . ."
"Yeah?"
"Uhm, i gotta pee. . . ."
"Argh please, not anda too!"
"yes, me too!"
"okay, we need to find a place where anda can pee!"
"I reeelly did'nt know that!" i berkata in a sarcasticly voice.
We found a quiet place where i could pee, but then. . .

How could he forget who i am? Gosh, we've known eachother since tahun 7-the first tahun of highschool-i cant believe it! Brandon is so definately dumped for doing this to Duncan. How could he just punch him and walk away like nothing even happened? He's so lucky Duncan isn't dead. How would i be able to cope then? "Im going back to sleep now, Courtney" Duncan said. Its so weird now that he doesn't even remember to call me princess. "Ok Duncan" i bent down and kissed him "Huh?" Brandon walked in and asked me.
