Fanpop Article: STOP BEING MEAN TO ME!

Today's Fanpop has lebih people mean and sarcastic then others. I'm not against it, but I don't have to be.

For those "yelled" at constantly, that means you're doing something WRONG! And it only leads to disaster. What might anda do wrong?
• Spamming
• Spelling names wrong
• Using incorrect grammar
• Posting miscategorized pictures, picks, questions(answers), etc. to a spot
• Hating on the person's spot
• Impersonating a celebrity
• Making a hate spot

If anda do any of those things, anda WILL be yelled at atau sarcastically talked to. And don't be a baby and cry about it. FIX IT!

Don't go on the Twilight Series spot and say: I HATE THIS STUFF! People will scream at you. Maybe even lapor anda if it's too serious.

Fans, do not kill yourself because I told anda this is OKAY to do.

Renesmee_XD Forgot to add but, if your native language is not English and you speak another language, hate might hit you! Seriously? I have been speaking Hindi all my life does that mean even though I am better at English I will be hated for speaking Hindi? :/

youknowit101 I don't think it's right to tell people to kill themselves, even if you're angry or just joking. Some bouts of anger or jokes shouldn't be acceptable. The only time someone deserves the sarcasm is when you *spam *impersonate someone *post miscategorized comments *or spread hate (hate spots or unprovoked hateful comments) Why can't you let it slide if someone spells something wrong or messes up their grammar? Is it really a big deal? It's a little annoying, but you'll live. If someone gets sarcastic with me, I'll get sarcastic right back, unless I think it's funny. If someone gets snide with me, i'll get snide right back. Especially if it's because I misspelled something. You should add to that list *If you "yell" at someone for doing these things, expect to get "yelled" at right back.

william_laughs I think yelling is not a good reaction. If someone is being "yelled at constantly" it might be that a troll mob has formed. So why blame the person being yelled at? It's better for ALL of us to be more civil. We may fall short of perfect behavior, but we can have great interactions if we come to FanPop with that intention. Not everyone on FanPop is the same age or they may be going through a difficult time. So I think it's good to relax and not take anything on Fanpop personally...but keep in mind others might not be able to help it. And if we meet people who aren't acting civil, we can always just ignore them or report them.

fanfly What william_laughs said. Just because someone made a mistake is absolutely no reason to YELL at them. You can help them by politely pointing out that they made a mistake and giving them advice on how to correct it. As for spelling/grammar; I admit that I hate text speak but I certainly don't go around yelling at people who use it or talking down to them. What would that get me? Nothing but a reputation as a bitch. And I always give people who demonstrate poor spelling and/or grammar the benefit of the doubt. English is not everyone's native language and to get your panties in a twist over something like that just makes you look like an ass hole. The only thing I agree deserves a bit of yelling at is the ones who go on a spot they aren't a fan of and deliberately insult the topic. That's trolling. But since they're obviously just trying to stir up trouble and get a reaction, the best way to foil them is just to ignore them. If they continue, report them. Oh and people who impersonate celebrities should just be reported.

karlyluvsam dont be mean to new fanpopers that wont to know about medals - ok yeah almost evey week someone post a questin - that says " how to get medals " " why dont they have have one yet " " or asking what it is " but come do you really have to bite there head off --- some people havent been here from the start of fan pop - an have like 49 medals

william_laughs We all come to Fanpop for a good time and to meet people like us. But I know where she's coming from. It's frustrating sometimes to meet people who are just looking for a fight or drama. But the thing I keep in mind is, I can minimize drama by just not participating in it. And I can be aware that my own words help shape experiences here on Fanpop. I'd rather make it a good experience.

The_Zebra_Freak i REALLY hate when people pick on me for my grammar. Its ridiculous. I mean,its just grammar. Oh well i mispell stuff SO WHAT?

I made a new spot about anything. The moto is "This spot is about anything that's important to you". It just came to me when I was hanging out with my friend James (WWEchamp) and I realized, I thought it would be cool if I could put anything I wanted on one spot. I thought it would be cool to just do anything I wanted to add. NO LIMITS! so I made a spot called the anything spot. So anda if anda want to anda can now add no specific content. Movies, Sports, Politics,
TV shows, cooking, add anything anda want. If anda think i'm sounding like an a-hole right now that's your opinion, but I think I really have a good thing going here. So please take a look at the anything spot if your even romotely intrested at all.

It's Already Been A Year!

I wasn't sure where to post this artikel so I decided to put it on this spot.

One tahun ago, the lives of many people around the world (especially of the people in Quebec) were turned upside down because of the death of Anastasia De Sousa. She was an innocent victim of the shooting that occurred at Dawson College in Montreal, Quebec exactly one tahun lalu on September 13th, 2006. I just wanted to give her one moment of silence on this very sad anniversary and I was hoping anda would all sertai me in this. I was completely devastated when I first heard the tragic news about this shooting last year...

Holy Batman I have not been on in forever (slightly longer hiatus than I planned D:) But I am now back and frightened lebih than ever.

When I was last here things were quite good, there was a lot of fandom going on over the kiddies, good for them :) don't start stuff. I come back and what do I get in my face BOOBS! ASS! SEX! What? Last I thought this was a site accessed sejak children and adults. When I think of Fanpop I don't think of it as a smutty site for people to enjoy in a different inapropriate way.

Petty Ratings

I have noticed recently that ratings on very great material are extremly low. I can understand video that are of poor quality but pautan like IMDb atau fansites are being rated as low. These are what I have been calling "petty rates". If anda have a problem with someone on Fanpop don't take it out on their ratings. Add your own content that anda think is better.

When anda write a soapbox atau find a great image, it can be really disappointing to get a low rating. Personally, it makes me not want to add content. Why spend so much time adding great content when people are going to rate is so low and...

I'm just here to tell anda about a new spot I made. It's called the rising stars spot. For musicians and groups who have a good sound to their music. a good example would be one republic. So if anda know some kind of artist that anda think should be heard post something about them on this spot.I personally like a band called The Hush Sound. They are an indie rock band who songs are joy to my ears. I put some of their songs on the spot check them out. And remember there will always be a new hit artist.
