There was no reason for her to do absolutely nothing for four months solid! He didn't die, he moved. Edward, when Twilight haters say 'stalker', they are trying to find a term for a 100+ year old man who breaks into someones house and watching them sleep. it may be endearing to some people, but it's also very very creepy! I'm a Twilight-hater, and i think that eventually Bella and Edward do fall in love, but in the very begining, it was lust. Feelings change. As for the Romeo and Juliet comment. I really hope that you weren't comparing Meyer to Shakespeare! In those days, it was ok to get married at 14, it wasn't such a big thing as it is now. But these days, getting married at 18 is very young. And for most people, very stupid. Sparkling vampires? The reaosn it gets stick, is because vampires are suppost to drink blood and be a little bit scary. Sparkling is often linked and related to Fairies, magic, fanasy etc. Faries are seen as small and weak and so people don't understand why she didn't pick another quality that they could have to make them different. I don't reall find it sexy, but i think that';s more a matter of opinion. I don't really care about the abortion argument, i think that Bella was right to keep the baby, because i think abortion is wrong. Good artical... i just don't agree... naturally!

Athiya If Edward still act like a seventeen years old, what went with Jane? She should act like her age too, right? And I think that most girls her age wouldn't want to get tangled up with authorities like the Volturi -- in fact, she should be in a stage of rebellion. She would be dead, and things would be [b]very[/b] different for me. Trust me, I know how important these decisions are. If it's against their beliefs, you must accept their choice and support their decision. I'm not against the fact that Bella chose to keep the demonspawn, I actually think that's the only thing she's ever done that showed she was a strong character. What I'm against was the fact that Edward made the choice to abort Bella's pregnancy without even consulting her. He is a lot stronger than her physically, and I don't doubt that he would've forcibly sedated her if it could get rid of the baby, or held her down while Carlisle performed an abortion. This actually shows how unbalanced Bella and Edward's relationship is. He treats her like a child, doesn't value her opinion, and is very controlling, [b]as is proved by his attempt to force an abortion on Bella[/b]! Don't get me wrong, I think you raised a few valid points in your article, but this is just the way I see it. If you can disprove any of my statements, please do, I would really like it if I could find out my arguments were false. No book can possibly be [b]this[/b] bad.

hrrypttrfn328 This is only because I am a stickler for facts, and I do not even know if you are ever going to take a look at this, but... I just thought I would bring up the fact that your information on Romeo and Juliet is a tad off. We do not know the exact age of Romeo, but it is safe to say he is between 16-18. Juliette, on the other hand is actually not yet 14. She is still 13. And the entire play takes place over the course of about a week - a week and a half. Even shorter a time than you thought. Also, I find it really funny when people compare these two pieces, since they usually do so in the hope of comparing their romances. Sort of counterproductive, seeing as Romeo and Juliette was written as a warning of what could happen if you are stupid enough to be this quick in a relationship. But am sure you know that :) I was happy to see a Twilight supportive article after seeing so many HP ones. It was feeling like the scale was tipping :)
