Harry Potter vs. Twilight Article: How I Have Become a Twilight Hater

Like a lot of other Antis, I was at first a Twilight fan.

I got into Membaca when I was 8 years old. First real book I have read was Harry Potter. Since than, I have read loads of fiction - romance, science fiction, fantasy, historical novels...
I liked some of them and disleked others. With years, I learnd to tell why and found my Kegemaran - Fantasi novels.

My friend heard of upcoming Twilight movie, so she decided to read it. She recomended the book to me, so I said: "Heck, why not, it sounds interesing." I borrowed it from school perpustakaan and read it. I admit, I thought it was great, and I had soon read New Moon and Eclipse that I bought with my pocket money.

I was a Twitard, I adored Stephanie Meyer and I was SOOO in the team Edward. But I had never EVER thought it was better than HP. Then I got my hands on Braking Dawn. I was like: "Yay, the great good vs. evil finale!!1!"

But there wasn`t any. At all. I rearly like ends, but I absolutely hated this one. But some peminat-peminat still seemed to Cinta the "saga". I asked myself what else have I missed.
Maybe the fact that Bella is whiney, Edward abusive and story plotless? How could I be so blind?

Now I am a proud Anti-Twilight. Because it turned me blind for almost 6 months.

ThatDarnHippo Great article. I don't know if I ever told you guys this, but when I was 12 years old (a little over a year ago), I onced loved Twilight, too. I also used to "typ lyk dis". And I used to drop the F bomb after every other word I said or typed. But one day I gained common sense. I reread Twilight, and it was then that I realized all of the plot holes, how SMeyer suspiciously looks a lot like Bella, how idiotic sparkling is, etc etc etc. Also, a lot of people convinced me why it was a worthless read. And I learned how stupid I sounded when I "typ lyk dis", and when I say f@%# all the time. I also reread the Harry Potter books which I have once read throughout the fifth grade (I wanted to wait for all the books to come out before I started the series). I have forgotten how much I loved them. While I was a Twihard, I still loved the Harry Potter movies, but have forgotten about the books. Now I am anti-Twilight and a Harry Potter fan. The end. Sorry to post my story here, but I thought it fit well.

PrincessVandal I was blinded for six months too. However, I never read Breaking Dawn nor finished reading Eclipse. I realized the all the crap that was put into the saga.

ImBooOK Its sad that you began to just hate Twilight...but hey. your thing i just think its weird how like when we were all little...we used to love silly things but now just hate them? maybe not hate just overgrown. anyhoo i like both Twilight and HP so why do i care? great reasons though, however would you agree if it was told by some other charactor it would be better? because Bella makes it sound sappy. "OH EDWARD! OH JACOB!" i mean really still love the books but it gets old. id like it better if it was told from Carlisles POV because he is more older and a hella lot more interesting....

Why I Agree With Rosalie Cullen

As anda can tell, I do not like Twilight. However, there is one character in the "saga" that I definatley agree with. That person happens to be... Rosalie.

Sure Rosalie is a jalang, perempuan jalang most of the time, but when anda watch her in "Eclipse" [my sister made me watch all the movies] anda actually discover why she acts like that, especially towards Bella, and to be honest, I can't really blame her. I like Twilight. I used to Cinta Twilight. But then, I began to feel disappointed. I wanted Bella to have DONE something that actually could affect the entire WORLD.
