Harry Potter vs. Twilight Article: A Little Rant sejak Me

Okay, I should start this off sejak saying that I am a peminat of both Harry Potter and Twilight, but I am a bigger peminat of Harry Potter. Why am I telling anda this, anda ask? Because this artikel is going to sound a lot like I am defending Twilight, which I am, and trashing on the Harry Potter, which I am not. Now that that's out of the way...

Okay. Earlier, I was in the Harry Potter spot, and I saw a rather shocking komen in one of the picks: "I cant think of an overrated harry potter character- overrated is over on the Twilight spot- he he." This sparked my interest. Is there anything else in the HP spot atau in the Twilight spot that has to do with the other? I found out that, in fact, there is. Here's what I found:

Searched for Twilight in the Harry Potter spot:

- J.K. vs. Stephanie articles
- Rawak video that combine the two.
- Team Harry picture (which figuratively craps on Twilight)
- Harry Potter is better than Twilight article

- Anti-Twilight icon
- A pick with the results of people being pissed that Twilight has lebih fans
- "Does it bother anda when people put Twilight stuff in the Harry Potter spot?" (Which I find ironic...)

Searched for Harry Potter in the Twilight spot:

- Pictures of Rob in Harry Potter

- Which movie are anda lebih excited to see link
- Fanfictions of the two together

Why is it that people are putting things in spots where they don't belong? Twilight and Harry Potter have nothing to do with each other, other than Rob being in both (which makes up for this imej and video of him in Harry Potter in the Twilight spot) and that people like to compare them. People comparing them is not a good excuse for anda to go into a spot that anda are not a peminat of to say why anda hate it and why the other is better, nor is it a good excuse for anda to constantly have picks and soalan comparing the two when there is a Twilight vs. Harry Potter spot.

To Antis, preferably: Why do anda add artikel-artikel and forum about why Harry Potter is better in the Twilight spot? anda will accomplish nothing. Do anda ever see an artikel in the Harry Potter spot about why Harry Potter sucks and why Twilight is better? I sure don't, and if there is, please direct me with a link. The Twilight spot is for Twilight fans. It's not for people like the Antis to go in and share why they think it sucks. If anda think it sucks, then go into the C.A.T. spot atau this spot. Don't waste your time telling it to people who either don't care atau will be very offended because they are actually a peminat of it.

Oh, and it really doesn't go with the article, but remember when anda guys were complaining about this spot being centered around Twilight (despite having way lebih Antis / Harry Potter fans, picks that always have Harry Potter as the clear winner, soalan about why the Twilight peminat-peminat talk like idiots, and most of the imej being Anti-Twilight)? I'm surprised that no one berkata that the tajuk of this spot has Harry Potter listed first. So, I thought of something. Maybe the creator of this spot saw that Harry Potter was listed first, and therefore, had to add just one lebih Twilight image to the banner to compensate. Just a thought.

Opinions and komen-komen would be greatly appreciated, as long as they're not calling me names for being a Twilight peminat atau smart-ass komen-komen like "You like Twilight. Therefore, your argument is invalid." Debate, please. :)

Edit: I just realized how much I hate the tajuk of this. Ugh.

Yarrgh You see more Harry Potter articles in the Twilight spot, ranting about how crap Twilight is, it is because most Harry Potter fans are from every age group, whereas a high percentage of Twilight fans are tweens & teenagers, who don't know how to spell properly & use many abbreviations! So they cannot be bothered to bitch & rant about Harry Potter, they only go on about how "Hot Edward Cullen" is. & your not really accomplishing anything on this article either, it doesn't make a difference, it hasn't changed my view on anything. But I do like some of the points you have made. If that makes sense, after what i've written, aha. (Please do not take my comment as an insult, but you stated that a opinion would be great, & now you've got mine.)

VampiresRevenge I don't think so. I would say that the brunt of Fanpop is tweens / teenagers, so it doesn't really matter what they are a fan of. Most of the users are around the same age. And though many of the Twilight fans can't type right, you would be surprised. There are a lot of fans in the Twilight spot who can actually give debates while using correct grammar and punctuation. I know, it sounds unbelievable. ... I know that I won't change anyone's mind about what they are a fan of. That's not the point of this article. It's to get people to think, for me to get some things that I've been wanting to say for a while off of my chest, and to see if I could get some people to say why they like to but HP in the Twilight spot and Twilight in the HP spot. And if this article isn't accomplishing something because it's not changing your mind, then almost every article here is pointless. There are a ton of articles on here about why Twilight sucks and I don't agree with them nor will I stop liking Twilight because of them, but does that mean that the articles aren't going to accomplish something? No. Don't worry. I wasn't insulted by your comment. I'm glad that someone commented.

LilRavenclaw95 I agree! Keep the debating here. Honestly. And as for the "You like Twilight. Therefore, your argument in invalid.", LOL! Whoever said that is stupid, and you need to ignore them! And the quote mentioned above made me think of the "Voldemort is breathing fire-- YOUR ARGUMENT IS INVALID!" photo. Just so you know O:)

VampiresRevenge Thanks! Yeah, someone told me that on another site because I had a "Twilight related avatar" when it was actually a Cedric avatar. Haha, I've seen that photo before.

LilRavenclaw95 Ah, Cedric. Ever since he died it's been all down-hill for him. xD Woooow... Was this person an HP fan? If so, EPIC FAIL, haha! And that picture is full of win. But not only does Voldemort breathe fire, he breathes fire that turns into a giant flaming snake. Pwn :)

VampiresRevenge Haha, I know. Too much sparkles for Cedric. I have no clue if they were a fan of HP, but it was on a music site that's full of a-holes. Every chance they get they attack my username (it's the same as it on here.) Total pwn. The only thing that would pwn more is if he killed Edward, hahaha. He could jump into Twilight in order to kill him.

boolander25 I've never really complained about the banner and I can list a bunch (well maybe a few) overrated HP characters. I'd much rather we stick to debating on this spot rather than invading others. Like you said, it accomplishes nothing. The spelling mistakes and bad grammar, well everyone messes up once in a while. It's just when it's completely over the top crap that I'll get annoyed. It truly is unfortunate that we have Twitards as the stereotype for all Twilight fans.

LilRavenclaw95 ^^^ That would be the single best ending of all time. Sometimes I re-read Twilight and hope that it magically ends with SOMEONE dying. I guess I'm just insane that way xD Ah, a-holes. They're annoying, but it's funny talking to them. Everything they say makes me want to A) slap them with a fish, or B) laugh so loud that they walk away. And I like your username!
