"Dad, I'm going to go help." I berkata as I started walking towards the woods.

"No, Jacob stay here." He said, not looking at me but at the woods that surrounded the house.

"Dad, I can't just sit here. I have to do something."

"Jacob, be patient." He berkata as he turned his head to the west and smiled slightly.

I was about to ask him what he was smirking at when I saw Sam Uley come walking out of the woods wearing nothing but a pair of cut off jeans. In his arms was a small bundle that I thought was wood until I saw the dark brown hair hanging over his arm.

"I've got her." Sam yelled...

End of Chapter 9

"Jake, the three of us have been making fun of Sam and his gang for months now. Then all the sudden he's ignoring me, he won't even talk to me anymore...he just talks to them and hangs out with them." Quil said, his fists clenched in anger.

"Yeah, I saw him earlier." I berkata as Quil's eyes got bigger. "He came out of nowhere, and they were all with him. anda just missed him sejak a few minutes."

"Really?" He asked. "I didn't pass him when I walked in."

"You had to have passed him, he took off down the driveway."...

End of Chapter 2

I did what was asked until there were four plates set out, three of them loaded with pasta with sauce, a salad with all the fixing, french roti and jagung which I thought was strange but wasn't going to komen about when she cooked it for us. We took two plates out to our Fathers, who were very appreciative before returning to the dapur where our plates were waiting, mine loaded with Makanan and hers barely half full.

"How's school?" She asked as she pushed her pasta around her plate, her eyes flashing...

"Yeah, I went through a lot the last few days. Sam and the rest are helping me...I think we just misunderstood them. They aren't that bad Jake..and I cut my hair because it annoyed me." Embry berkata quickly, his eyes watching the woods. "How are anda Jake?"

"I don't know." I said, my eyes starting to burn.

"Jake I'm sorry." He berkata as he touched my arm. "If anda need anything at all, call me."

"Yeah." I berkata as I looked out into the woods, wondering what he was looking at.
