Prologue:
The tahun is 2000 and Michael has been thinking up some new songs. He has decided to go to the recording studio and do some demos...
It was just another hari in the life of an artist for Michael. He had recorded new ideas for songs on a tape recorder and has decided to transfer them from the tape to the studio. He loved making music. And he knew the peminat-peminat loved it too. But he still felt as though he was missing something in his life. Like there was a hole in his hati, tengah-tengah that only that missing thing could fill. He just couldn’t menanggung, bear this feeling... one of loneliness. The closest woman he’d last been with was his ex-wife Lisa. He had loved her to bits and didn’t feel as though he was ready to alih on. At least that’s what he initially thought.
As he was recording his new song, “You Rock my World,” with Chris Tucker, he seemed... unfocused. Matt, who was helping them record the song, could tell Michael wasn’t feeling all that well and suggested they take a break. At that moment, Chris turned to Michael with a look that meant the same as what he said...
“What’s wrong with anda Mike? anda seem so down lately,”
“It’s nothin’ Chris, really,” Michael berkata as he sat on the floor.
“Mike shamone! If it WAS nothing, we’d be done in here sejak now,”
“It’s just that... well this may sound ridiculous but I just feel... lonely, anda know. Here I am Singing about a girl that doesn’t even exist, expressing my emotions vocally to a figment of my imagination, because Cinta songs are what my peminat-peminat like to hear. I mean, the last person I really felt close to was...”
“Lisa?” Chris said, cutting him off.
“Exactly.”
‘Man anda gotta forget about her and alih on wicha life. Get yourself a pretty young thing. You’ll find what you’re looking for.”
“I don’t know man, I mean, what if she does the same thing to me? I can’t menanggung, bear to Cinta and lose again...”
... Meanwhile, in another part of the building...
“Brooke, I need anda to do a favour for me,”
“Yes Dad... I mean, Sir?”
“I need anda to go to studio 7 today first, instead of your usual routine... and make certain anda do,”
“Should I know why I need to go to number 7 first?”
“Let’s just say... Matt’s working with someone in there at the moment and it’s essential that they are kept in a good frame of mind.”
“Okay, I’m on my way.” Brooke said. She knew better than to soalan her father too much. But why number 7 first, she thought...
