Michael went back to the lounge and noticed that Rosabel wasn't there.
"Where's Rosabel?" He asked.
"She just went upstairs." Janet said.
Michael sat down seterusnya to Elizabeth and continued to open his presents and try to forget what had just happened. He saw Rosabel's pile grow but never saw any sign of her. After 10 lebih minit of opening presents, Michael decided to go look for her. He went upstairs and into his room, to find Rosabel on the katil with her head under the pillows.
"Are anda okay, Rosabel?" He asked, sitting on the bed.
She didn't answer.
"Rosabel?"
"Do I really have to go back to the orphanage?"
"What?" Michael said, panicking slightly.
"I heard anda talking to those men outside and anda berkata you'd let them take me back."
"You weren't meant to hear that."
"It was sejak accident. Are anda gonna let them take me though?"
"I kind of have to."
"But why?" Rosabel cried, sitting up. "They'll be so mad that I left with you. I thought I was selamat, peti deposit keselamatan here. When I get back they'll beat me until there's no lebih blood left in my body."
"I'm sorry, Rosabel. Please don't cry." Michael wiped the tears from her face and hugged her. "I won't let them beat anda up anymore though."
"They might not even listen to you."
"I'll make sure they do. If they keep abusing anda all you, need to do is find someone who can call me. Like Bill. He's staying in London."

Rosabel paused for a bit then asked, "Is it true that Harvey died?"
"Um..." Michael was deciding whether to tell her the truth atau not. "Yes, it's true."
"Oh no! He was my only friend! I'll probably die too though, because everyone will be so angry with me."
"Don't say that Rosabel. I'll find a way to make them nice to you. Besides, if you're ever feeling lonely, then anda only need to look to the stars at night and find the brightest one. That'll be Harvey."
"Really?"
"Yeah. He'll always be with anda in spirit. Don't forget that you're never alone. There'll always be someone who cares about anda sejak your side."
"Wow."
"Also, you've still got a couple of weeks with us. anda can still enjoy Christmas. anda also gotta dance for us."
"Oh yeah." Rosabel said, adjusting her fedora.
"Everyone's waiting downstairs."
"Let's go then!"
Rosabel hopped off the katil and ran downstairs. Michael followed her, wondering how she could get so easily distracted. It was dancing though, he supposed. It was something they both loved to do and he knew it could always cheer him up.

Once downstairs, Rosabel opened the rest of her presents (almost all of which had something to do with Michael), told everyone that she had a surprise for them, then went with Michael to the stage in the theatre to prepare.
"What are anda gonna dance to?" Michael asked, when they were in the theatre.
"Billie Jean, of course. Could anda do me a favour though?"
"Sure. What do anda want?"
"Can anda teach me how to moonwalk properly?"
"You already do it so well though." Michael said, laughing.
"I want to learn from the master and do everything exactly how anda would perform it."
"Alright, I'll teach you. It's not that hard actually. The main part of it is weight shifting..."
After a quick dance lesson, Rosabel was ready to perform. Michael went back to the lounge and called everyone while Rosabel waited on the stage. When everyone had taken their seats, Michael turned on the Muzik and an extended version of Billie Jean started playing. Rosabel stood in the middle of the stage with her legs together, one of her arms outstretched to the left and the other at the back of her head. Then she took off her fedora, threw it to the side of the stage and did the crotch grab. Throughout the performance, Rosabel moonwalked across the stage 3 times and performed all of Michael's signature moves with ease. Each time the audience went wild. Rosabel ended her performance with a final moonwalk and toe stand and threw her fedora into the audience while they clapped and cheered as loud as they could. Michael jumped and caught Rosabel's fedora then gave her a pleased wink. It was the moment after he winked that he realised how much he would miss her.
