Chapter 10: Abbey Bominable

Abbey was rubbing her arms to stop herself from melting. Heath had left the heater on in his room and Abbey couldn't stand it.

"Heath!" Abbey yelled in despair.
"Yea baby?" Heath said, poking his head around the doorway.
"Can anda turn heater off? Making me melt. Literally."

And with those words he switched the heater off. Abbey thanked him and sat down. She was thinking of the other hari in the catacombs.

Operetta promised to keep their secret as long as Abbey did stuff for Operetta. Sure, it wasn't fair but it was the only way to stop the secret getting out.

"Heath, I was thinking..."
"Yea?"
"Maybe we tell someone. Cause I'm sick of moving Operetta's gitar everywhere. Her labah-labah always in it!"
"But you're the one who berkata not to tell anyone!"
"I need some time to think." Abbey said, walking out.
"See anda tomorrow Heath."

She walked out on the cold pavement, her hati, tengah-tengah thudding. Her iCoffin then rang. It was Operetta. She couldn't ignore her, then she would spill the secret! She hesitated then answered.

"Hello."
"Hey Honeycomb," Operetta berkata in her sweet southern accent.
"What anda want now Operetta."
"Well, I was wonderin' if anda could help me alih some of my band stuff to the studio. I gotta big gig coming up in the coffin bean."
"I thought anda couldn't sing in front of monsters?"
"Oh I'm not singing, they'll be listening to one of my recordings.."
"Well," Abbey started, "What if I berkata no?"
"If anda want your little secret to stay a secret, anda don't have a choice." Operetta berkata in a raspy voice.

Abbey instantly hung up and ran to Operetta's house.
