The yards were busy in Cheyenne. While Mirage, and Dan were operating the switchers pushing cars over the hump, Hawkeye, and Stylo were waiting for their seterusnya assignment.

Stylo: Still no telegram from Pete.
Hawkeye: I wonder what's taking so long for us to get our job for the day. I didn't sertai a railroad just to stand around, and do nothing.
Stylo: Maybe he doesn't have anything for us.

Stylo: *Looks at the train entering the yards* Seems like one of our trains. Every engine except for that is from our railway.
Hawkeye: What's a Gulf Mobile & Ohio locomotive doing here?

Stylo: *Sees Rachael as she comes out of the train* hei Hawk, check out the curves on her, huh?

Rachael: Oh good. On my sebelumnya railroad, some of the other workers would tease me, and give me directions to the wrong place.
Hawkeye: Where was that?
Rachael: The Jersey Central.
Stylo: How long have anda been in Equestria?
Hawkeye: Yeah, anda sound British.
Rachael: I am, and I only lived in this country for nine years.
Snowflake: *Comes out of the tower* Hawk, a telegram from Pete.
Hawkeye: *Runs up to the tower, and takes his telegram. He comes back down Membaca it*
Stylo: What does it say?
Hawkeye: Apparently, it's for me only. I'm working with Rachael.

After Rachael uncoupled the locomotives from her sebelumnya train, and refueled them, she, and Hawkeye left the yards in their train, heading for Denver. The train had only twenty two refrigerator cars, followed sejak a caboose.

Rachael: I've been working on the Union Pacific since yesterday. What about you?
Hawkeye: Me?
Rachael: Yes.
Hawkeye: 1947.
Rachael: That's a long time. How old are you?
Hawkeye: 35.
Rachael: No wonder anda look so young. I'm only 26.
Hawkeye: Yeah, most ponies that work on the railroad start in their twenties. hei Rachael.
Rachael: Yes?
Hawkeye: What can anda tell me about this locomotive we're in?
Rachael: Well, where I work on the U.P is in Kansas City. The Gulf Mobile & Ohio railroad had a lot of locomotives, and not enough trains. They're allowing us to lease this locomotive for the time being.
Hawkeye: That's what my friend Stylo said. He knew this engine had to be leased sejak our railway, because Kansas City is as far west as the GM&O goes.

The train continued on to Denver, travelling at 60 miles an hour.
