What's your opinion of Fanpop peminat-peminat leaving the PoM spot?

I think that when a peminat decides it's their time to go, then they should go. They have their reasons, whether atau not they decide to share them, and we should respect that. I know how sad it is to watch a good friend leave this place, but it happens, and lebih Friends will come in time.

Now since I assume this is partly about me, I'm not leaving. If anda read through my original dinding post, I specifically berkata that I AM NOT LEAVING. I tried to, I really did have half a goodbye letter typed up. But I couldn't finish it because I seriously started crying half-way through. I always thought that Membaca those was hard, but Penulisan one is 10 times worse.

I still remember way back when it seemed like another peminat left everyday, many of whom were AMAZING people, and friends. And I remember how the reasons that they left were not because they simply grew out of PoM, atau had to alih on with life, but because they were sick of what this place had become. Then I remember promising myself that the hari I do leave, it won't be on a bad note. I'd leave like Jedi did; not being chased away, but chosing to leave. And after alot of thinking yesturday, I'm still sticking to that. As long as there's people who want me here and the show's still alive to talk about, I'll be around.

I really am sorry for worrying some of you, it's just that when I looked at the dinding the other day, a sense of hopelessness overcame me when I saw nothing but crazy fangirling, even after all of these months of thinking "It's gonna get better. Soon, it's gonna be better." And that on bahagian, atas of several other reasons (which I won't get into now because I think I'm going to run out of characters soon) made me think that it would be best if I leave now. Really, I SHOULD leave, it would be smarter for me to (again, reasons I'm not getting into now), but I don't think I CAN leave, even if I wanted to. I still Cinta this place and the people here too much. And even if it's not the same spot I came to 15 months ago, I still do get that warm family feeling when I log on everyday.

Real answer: This is gonna make me regret taking a little break in August because of band. Still, I hate seeing really good peminat-peminat leave the spot. I'm afraid of the following people leaving:

*You (of course)
*Penguinangel (without her, this place would fall apart)
*SJF_Penguin2 (the world would explode...)
*Bluepenguin (she's too awesome to leave!)
*Icicle1penguin (she's awesome too!)

Those are the main ones. But I would feel bad if someone else left the spot because it makes me feel like I made them leave. Like I did something to make them leave...

Some peminat-peminat leave because of the fact that they just get bored of the show. But lately, some people have left because of anda know... the spot. Its just filled with... chaos... IDK how to put it. And some peminat-peminat left because of the fact they had better things to do.

I'm beginning to grow bored of PoM myself (not the show, not the show), BUT! I will still watch it because a). I'm not entirely an adult yet and 2). I still have a good interest in the show.

I probably won't leave this spot come the end of the series. I'll stick around with the other PoM oldies that still are fond of the show... that is, if there are any left ;)

Just Because it's not aired Much Doesn't Mean That people should Leave it, Like Full House! It's Ended But People Still Like It.

Well, I do find it sad that any peminat-peminat would leave, especially the ones that participate and try to keep it alive. I joined this spot to make Friends and have fun with them, but if the ones that aren't so fangirl-ish and crazy leave one-by-one (possibly because of the fangirls-POSSIBLY), then it would grow lonely and weird. The hari I leave is if it feels too desolate. I hope that hari doesn't come anytime soon. I don't want to lose the Friends I got here and leave this spot; it's gotten so close to me...

However, I believe this subject should just be let go. Like I said, seeing these people go is sad, but is there anything we can do about it? Whatever their reason is, they know what they are doing. It is their decision to leave atau not. It will be sad, but it's not like they're gone forever. And if we lose fans, I know some peminat-peminat will come as well. When I first came here, I can remember several people who were here and sane and active fans-and some of those left and I haven't heard from in a long time. I feel like this is ancient history. But, anda know, that's just how things are. And we have to accept that. But, hey, we get peminat-peminat in the green box almost every day. Some are bound to be sane and will become close to us.

A [somewhat] quick summary of my opinion of this: let those considering to leave atau not decide their decision without making them feel forced to stay and let them do as they please. Should they leave, we'll miss anda and we won't forget you. anda were a part of a great fanclub, at least. :)

Uh... according to that green bar at the bahagian, atas right corner of my screen, our peminat numbers have been slowly increasing hari sejak day.
Some people may have left because of some stuff they didn't like on the wall. But, if people get in your way of loving the Penguins of Madagascar and menunjukkan your pride for it so much that anda leave the club atau what ever, then that's just sad on your part. All anda really have to is ignore. Real simple. Or, at least, that's my view on it. :P

People grow out of things, it's as natural as it gets. anda can try and make them stay all anda want, but the choice is theirs. If they still like it, they can come back. I think if they want to leave, they can. If they want to be a peminat again, they want to have another shot with fandom. Basically, it just happens, and anda can not do much about it.

I find it sad. But remember that life goes on, people will come and go, and we can't do anything about it, except to accept it.

It's always sad to see peminat-peminat parting ways, especially those who have been long-time members atau those who have added much to the discussion. However, I defend the right of any peminat to leave this club atau the fandom in general for whatever reason, for each individual is the only one who can understand the whys and wherefores going into their decision. It is our duty to respect these decisions even if we disagree with atau are disappointed sejak them.

As for me, I know that I'm not going to disappear from the fandom for a very long time. Fanpop, I believe, has become one of the major hubs in the PoM fandom, and despite occasional setbacks and difficulties, is likely to retain this status. I've been in it for the long-haul for quite a time, and I think that as long as there's still fuel in the tank, I'm gonna keep on truckin'.

i know where anda can still watch pom, even if they stop airing completely. and i would NEVER leave this spot! i met some of my BFFL's here!
