Are anda mad that in the movie they are making Percy 17?!

Logan Lerman tweeted this statement on Twitter that Percy Jackson will be 17 in the films. I can't believe this! They're ruining everything about the books! How is Percy now supposed to go to his freshmen orintation (sp?) in the fourth book when according to the moives, sejak that time he'll be 19 years old? I just don't understand WHY they coudln't keep Percy 12 and the rest of the characters their proper ages. So now we know why they casted older people for young kids. Great. *rolls eyes*

Well, they probably had to read the buku to make the movie. I thought I liked this director...well, at least I did for Harry Potter. But the casting is ruining a lot of things.

I think the casting director wanted to rush getting people to play the characters and didn't go sejak the buku ages.
I personally think they should have done the casting the way people did for the Harry Potter movies.
Pick kids the same age as the book characters that way the kids can grow with the movie.
The way they did the casting for The Lightning Thief, if they want to continue to make the entire series they're going to have to pick new people to play the characters. Then we'd loose the people that made us Cinta the characters in the beginning.
I'm also mad that Annabeth doesn't seem to have curly blond hair atau grey eyes.

A few other small things are out of place as well. Such as Annabeth is suppose to be blonde and they dont fight a hydra untill the 3rd book (i think)

They always put a twist in the Filem always diffrent from the book so it is not a suprise
