I prefer the English Dub since it's what I'm used to.

Nah original is better

Like I prefer Cress over Corn and Shinji over Paul.

I mainly prefer the Japanese names,I'm just very acclimated to them over the dubbed names.

i barely know the Japanese names:P

I will usually always say the english names because that is what i am used to. However, i absolutely adore the japanese names. And i think they fit the characters names better. For example, Hikari is a way better name for Dawn because it sounds prettier. Dawn is a pretty character :P

And then in the manga, i call oak's grandson Green and the girl Blue because their japanese names match their eye colour. Where as in the dub, their names are switched around for no reason.

I have to admit though, Satoshi sounds cool

the name should suit the character and make sense i dont watch the japanese shows since i cant understand the language subs distract me from the action. also some japanese names are Ridiculous Like Misty i mean honestly how many natural redheads are born in japan really japanese name just wouldnt suit her she should have an irish name if anything,
