Yes, I do believe in 2012. We wouldn't just skip from 2011 to 2013.

But no, I don't believe in the end of the world. Come on. It's not even possible. Are all the oceans gonna randomly decide to rise up and flood the world? Does Earth have a timer that will go off and cause the world to explode? Is the moon gonna say "Hey! Today would be a good hari to crash into Earth!"? Are the planets set to align? Are there any asteroids we know of that are going to crash into the planet?

Uh, no. Earth's been fine for the past 4 billion years. The Mayan calendar is a cycle, same as we restart after December 31. The world won't end.

what i think about this is some people need to get a life.you can get them at your local "needa-mart" there in isle three seterusnya to the souls and brains. theres also build-a-life seterusnya door, if anda need a friend to go with that life.

2012 is not the end of the world.It is a theory.Though only God shall decide the earth should parish atau alih on in life.I am a huge beliver in God so I hope he makes the right choice.The thing with the Mayan calendar means nothing.People could be making the calendar for 2072 right now.Don't underestimate God because when the time comes, he will probably do everything he can to save his people.

Well I have heard rumors of a giant meteorite twice the size of Earth coming in our direction,but I think that is just that.A rumor.

I my opinion i think it will happen some day. I checked the heat levels and they're bad but not tarrable. My estiment will be in 2189. But i could be wrong.It could hapen today atau in a bulan atau seterusnya tahun atau hell it could happen in 100 years we really don't know.

It was an ancient belief from a religion that doesn't even exist anymore. I am Christian, and I've read all the prophecies in the Bible, and I have strict beliefs about the world coming to an end. Plus, i have no time to die; the new bintang Trek movie comes out in 2012!

well since Australia is a hari ahead and it did end on dec 22nd 2012 Australia would get an extra hari b4 they die? atau would we get a hari less/ it doesnt make sense.

And theoretically, the world possibly cannot end is 2012, the sun will just expand in 2012 maybe swallowing up the first planet,

But either way the sun will menelan up a few planets, maybe the first, first two atau first three, so we will die then since we are the third planet.

Did those people ever think that the Mayans, Aztecs, atau whomever one of those made the idea that 2012 would be the end of the world was because maybe they got tired of counting hundreds of years into the future. I mean, I wouldn't exactly find it fun to sit in my stone chair all day, look at the sun, and calculate days for years I would never see.

No. I believe in 2012, but not the end of the world. People only believe that because the Aztec calendar ended in 2012. I believe that it cxould very well happen, but I don't classify myself as a person-who-thinks-they-know person. I have no clue. I'm no future-seeer.

I'm mexican so I know many things about the mayans and they made this calendar and they berkata that the tahun 2012 would be a tahun of change, of different thoughts, they never berkata that it was going to be the end of the world.
That came from a person that didn't understood the message and started to say that the end of the mayan calendar would be the end of the world
