I know this probably sounds totally pretentious and like I'm going to look down on everyone like "OOoooh, today's music is an ungodly horror!" or something... XD But that's not it. I like all kinds of different genres of music and I'm not going to look down upon other genres of music like "Oooooh, Vivaldi is turning in his grave!" or something

But things that fall into the "classical music" category- even modern songs that follow the style- are what I seem to like most consistently, not to mention it's easier to categorise than the 500 some genres of experimental or alternative types of music I like.

D: How could you try to make me choose..?! T.T Its like tryign to make me choose a favorite child...

But for real, my tastes are practically even spread across the board at this point and it depends on my mood which is on top... you cant make me choose....

ALTHOUGH I HAVE TO SAY.

In almost any mood, Classical music is amazing, especially when its composted (*chuckles*) really nicely.

But with that being said, while classical music is good at practically any time, it rarely ever gets the OMG boost when my mood matches another genre.

Like currently, it would be a form of pop that would be on top. A short while ago it was rock that was on top. And then classicals. Then some more pop. Then symphonic metal. etc. So its not exactly fair to choose one for me.

Everyone who knows my current obsession atm knows EXACTLY what SPECIFIC type of pop Im talking about XD XD XD

But really. My favorites are really open to change really quick.

Classical seems to have the sort of songs that you don't get sick of listening to... You can go back to them time and time again, and each time you'll notice something different, by virtue of them having so many interweaving harmonies and instruments. It's something I really love about it.

The same can't really be said of pop, but it's still a genre I really enjoy. It'd probably be my 3rd favourite, after folk/folk-inspired music.
