Below is a great long interview with Scotty McCreery from myYearbook ! Some of the highlights are that Scotty discusses his motto, Penulisan songs, what he recommends for everyone to experience, and what he hopes that his peminat-peminat get out of his album! Read it all below:
When did anda first discover your voice?
I’ve been Singing my whole life. I don’t remember not singing. I think it was around 13 that my voice started changing. It just kind of dropped off; I kind of skipped that cracking phase.
Do anda have any childhood memories of singing?
I don’t remember it, but my mom says that when I was a baby at my one-year-old check-up she looked at the doctor and said, ‘Look! This baby will sing to you!’ Then she hummed a little nursery rhyme to me and I hummed it back to the doctor. It was a pretty cool thing. I’ve been Singing my whole life. I sang in church and children’s choir too.
How has your faith influenced your passion for music?
Greatly, I grew up Singing [in the church]. My faith plays a big role in my music. anda can tell that because the last song on the album is a faith-based song. Hopefully, one hari we can produce and make one of those faith-based albums to tunjuk people exactly where I come from and who I am.
anda learned gitar at age 10. Did it come naturally to you?
I think the rhythm maybe, but I still have to learn all the chords and finger lays. My hands are kind of small, so I have to find a way to do it. I remember my gitar teacher saying something to my mom about how I had a natural rhythm. I think that’s something that just musically has been in my head the whole time.

Sometime seterusnya bulan the official nominated senarai should be released, but Scotty McCreery is one of the many incredible artists/groups battling it out this tahun to be nominated.
Unfortunately, this is not a fan-voted process, so we can only keep our fingers crossed and our hopes high! I'm sure that everyone, friends, family, and peminat-peminat alike would be speechless if Scotty were to win a Grammy...but out of the thousands who auditioned for 'American Idol', a 17 tahun old from Garner, NC came out victorious...who's to say he can't win a Grammy too!?
