Are your Friends and/or families aware of your Snape fixation? If so, how do they react?

My husband knows I'm a HP fan, well, that I enjoy the story, both buku and movies. But I keep my fascination and admiration for Severus as a part of my "secret garden".

I need to have such a garden in my mind, there is not only Severus but many other things (there's a whole angkasa there devoted to imagination in general too), a angkasa which is also a shelter when I need to keep my sanity intact from the outside world. My inner world is much lebih interesting than the outer world. I'm glad to have welcomed Severus there (you know, after his messy affair with Nagini in the Shrieking Shack...).

Actually, I'm quite good at keeping secrets. Some people even say that I cannot be "guessed at". Great - exactly what I want to be.

The only people that know I'm completely head over heels with him are the folks here on FanPop and my readers on FF.net. And I'm here incognito ! LOL

I do not have a fixation on Snape I just find him an interesting characters. My family knows that I am a huge HP fan.

I don't talk about it around my family, but if someone would bother to have a closer look it's pretty obvious. But really, I don't think my family would react negatively to it. Frankly, I don't think they would react at all.

My biological family has no clue. I don't think they'd care, honestly.

My best friend knows I love him, that he's my kegemaran HP character, but beyond that, she has no idea.

Yeah. My parents know that Severus is my kegemaran character and that I Cinta him. So much so, that they soalan how I can still enjoy HP, even though he was "killed" off. My parents actually seem to enjoy my fixation -- probably because I don't get fixated like this on things very easily.

My boyfriend calls Severus (and Alan...and Hiddles) my "obsession" jokingly. My boyfriend's told me that he prefers my Severus fixation over my fixation for Alan and Hiddles. He berkata that as long as I don't go crazy and tattoo his face on my body atau anything, he really doesn't mind.

Well, my other half alternates between disliking it and joking about it. What bothers him is that my fixation is for an 'older man' that is not that 'attractive'.
He can't understand this atau my other likes--Hannibal(SotL), Jayne Cobb(Firefly), Jareth(Labyrinth), Artie(WH13), Wyatt Cain(Tin Man), Vincent(BatB), Eric(PotO)--and if any of anda know anything about my choices, anda know, it wasn't based on the traditional definition of 'attractive'.
The people that have actually watched the shows atau read the stories, understands why I chose the people I chose, regardless of age, looks, disabilities.
My men stand out for their character, their abilities, their attitudes, their actions, and more. They are not 2 dimensional, they are more.....

Yes, they have noticed my...obsession seems to me too strong a word...I like interest better. Yeah, they've noticed my interest in Snape. They half tease me about it, but lebih in a good natured sort of way. There's only one friend who kind of ticks me off a bit as she's now taken to always gleefully introducing me to people as "And this is (my name), she looooves Severus Snape".

Who cares? It's SNAPE for God sakes! They already tiptoe around me and know never to bring up the names 'Severus atau Alan' if I'm within 100 yards unless they want to find out WAY lebih than they wanted to know (with heavy breathing included). Look ke hadapan to when anda get old kids - then they stop calling anda crazy and just go for 'eccentric'. God, I Cinta being 'eccentric' with Severus and Alan.

Mine is secret for now and I hope for it to stay that way so that my mother will not fine out about it. Sadly, my Friends know!! I didn't tell them they guessed and now they won't shut up about they basicly tease me but I Cinta my Friends I'm not mad with them about it.

Most people don't understand what they don't know.

My family know I'm a HP's peminat and they haven't nothing against it. I also made ​​known Severus my sister and fell her in Cinta with him!

Yes.My Friends know my fixation about Severus Snape.And when one of my best Friends came to know about it,she reacted violently,she berkata that I'm no longer the kind of person she knew and she asked me if I know what I'm talking about,if I'm aware of what I'm saying,and when I berkata yes,and that I'm not joking,she asked me if I'm drunk!Of course she's my friend and I understand her concern for me but I was hurt.I want to cry at that moment but I resist,I forced myself not to because i want to know the reason why she hated the idea of me,being attracted to Snape.So I asked her why,and she berkata that Snape is a bad guy,he's a villain,he's evil,dark and not good for me.Well,after I heared her reason,I sighed in relief because it's just a misunderstanding,she thought that Snape was evil,and sha's obviously wrong so,i told her all about Snape's past,about him,being a double spy,his Cinta for Lily and everything....And fortunately,she now understand.She's now supporting me and I'm glad for it.You know,me and my Friends have a lot in common,we have crushes on fictional characters like me,of course,in Snape,one of them has a crush on Draco,and the other one for Jacob Black in Twilight.But in my case,it's different,it's lebih serious,it's not just crush,and it's not an infatuation,I'm obsessed with him and I'm not sure if it's Cinta but for now,I think Cinta is the most appropriate word to use,my feelings for him is very different compared to my sebelumnya crushes crushes.I'm not really an expressive person but because of him,I turned to be.And how many times do I have to tell anda guys,that he's lebih than twice my age?There are many guys there that's in my age,young,cute,teenagers like me.But I was gripped sejak him,it's only him and no one else and oh,I'm so sorry,I'm talking nonstop so,where was I again? Yes,my Friends know about it but there's still some parts of it that they won't understand.and my family,they know that I'm obsessed in Harry Potter and my father supports me with this and they just recently know that I have a crush on Snape but all they know is that it's just a crush,nothing serious and maybe they were thinking that I'm only half joking,well I was,at first,when I was just somewhere between 12 to 14...So,that's it.
