Picture this,
anda just found this new roleplay called (for lack of imagination) “Roleplay of love, brought to anda sejak Hormones”. And because romance roleplays are so popular (HORMONES!) anda try it out. So your character falls in Cinta atau whatever with another character. At the end they are either…
A.    A couple
atau B. an item.
So now you’re all like “Cool. Now my character has a love-interest.” So every time anda rp with those two characters in mind, you’re lead on to think that your character is the love-interest, only to find out that when anda make a alih like proposing, atau future children, atau whatever, that character actually has a different love-interest with six other people’s characters.
So in short,
All the work/fun/planning/etc. anda had in mind for them is now gone, because it doesn’t really matter.

PEOPLE! DO NOT DO THIS!
When anda make a romance rp, when anda make a normal rp, when anda make any rp, IF anda HAVE A CHARACTER HAVE LOVE-EMOTIONS TOWARDS ANOTHER PERSON’S CHARACTER, either
A.    First come first serve: The first person for this to happen to gets the relationship.
B.    Ask around to see who cares and who doesn’t, then decide from there.
atau C. Post at the end of the rp, atau in the huraian something like “Note: This rp is just for fun. This will not affect my characters in any future rps, so unless anda and I agree completely, our characters will not be together.”
Do not lead people on. If they think that your character and theirs are together because they got together in an rp, guess what, THEY ARE. Unless your character is a player, atau unless anda did the whole “Note: This rp…” thing, then anda ARE responsible. And if anda wanted your character to get back together with a past love-interest, atau anda had one planned already, DON’T MAKE THE RP WITH THAT CHARACTER!
This is why I made the Chemical Cinta RP “CHEMICAL” Love. It dealt with FAKE love, not real love. This way, unless the other person actually wants a relationship, it’s not going to imply one in the future.

Another thing to point out is that WHEN anda have a couple character, DO NOT just snip off the relationship, ESPECIALLY when it’s been put into print atau art, UNLESS anda AND the other person BOTH agreed TOGETHER to separate the two characters. Believe it atau not, some of us actually have plans for what we’d like to see with a cross-over coupling. And WHEN anda break it off, at LEAST give it the decency to do it before it’s already made into something solid, and/or make it into a break-up of the characters in a fan-fic atau an rp atau at the very least on a komen say something like “After Jerry ate Ros pie, she broke up with him, so they aren’t a couple anymore”.

Girl character: *trips on boy accidentally Ciuman him*
Boy character: *not bad face*
Girl: *tripping out*
And now for some reason, every other time they meet in an rp, they’re a couple? Unless anda actually have the characters go “I Cinta anda *kiss Ciuman snog*” atau SOMETHING that says “We’re a couple” They aren’t. DO NOT ASSUME.
When I have a cross-over couple, I don’t know about the rest of anda guys, but I like to take it slow in most cases. Get the characters as friends, then PROGRESSIVELY get them into the ways of being a couple. If anda just skip all that, it gets really boring really fast. If they only like each other, then that means there can be room for
•    Fighting for the girl/guy
•    Little funny arguments
•    CLOSER FRIENDSHIP
•    Finding out the dislikes and likes of both of them, so it’s not just “THE REAL SUPER POWER OF LOVE-WORK (Yes I know, Sonic Heroes line)”

Don’t get me wrong, in some cases Ciuman with characters can be very romantic, but when it’s all the time, every rp, what’s the point? Isn’t Ciuman supposed to be a special and meaningful thing, let alone ONLY AFTER YOU’RE MARRIED?

If you’re so anxious for romance, WATCH A ROMANCE MOVIE, atau get a companion.
And if anda aren’t interested in a coupling of characters, DON’T MAKE THEM A COUPLE.
