What have I done?
A Piper One-Shot

Piper was devastated when Jason told her what had happened.
"Piper," he berkata meekly, almost afraid to be heard. "We need to talk."
When she heard this she had to almost stop herself from running away, she knew this couldn't be good.
Jason grabbed Piper's hand and pulled her closer, now they were in talking distance, not an arms length apart. Jason been trying to keep her away since the quest, almost pushing her back. What was going on with him?
"It's about my...old life." Jason berkata the words like he was sad to be in a place like Camp Half-Blood. Did the memories change him? Piper frowned, unable to contain her feelings. "Um, Piper," Jason was stalling, not willing to get to the point.
"Spit it out, Jason." she sighed. Piper wanted the bad news to be over with.
"Piper," Jason started. "I already had a, um, girlfriend back home." Home, she thought with disgust, an insult to this camp? This camp was home, but not to Jason.

Piper turned to hide the tears from Jason's eyesight.  She would not cry over a guy she never had.
"I'm sorry. I didn't know--”
"It's..." Piper searched for the right word. It was not okay atau fine. Jason hadn't had the guts to tell her. She couldn't think of what it was, there was only one word that popped into her mind: unfair.
Without finishing her komen she walked away, though not rudely. Piper was too embarrassed, too afraid of her life now. She left, walking and walking, not knowing exactly where she was going. Subconsciously she drifter towards the Aphrodite cabin.
Lacy saw her and became excited, "So?" she gushed. "How was your tarikh with Jason?" For a little girl of twelve she sure was into romance.
"Not good, Lacy, not good at all." Piper filled her in. Her beautiful, bright and happy face, freckles that splashed over her pale nose and were hidden sejak her beautiful Chocolate brown haid, had slowly formed a sad and stressful one, masking her youthful beauty. 
"But, but," she tried. "That's not what's supposed to happen!"
Piper forced out a laugh but Lacy wasn't satisfied. She wimpered, looking at Piper's sullen eyes and grave, sadlike expression.
"Piper, anda should rest." Mitchell told me. "You're really stressed."
Piper nodded, "First, I need to talk someone." Mitchell gave a curt nod as if to say [u]Go on![/i] and Piper scampered of out the safety of her cabin; her home.

Piper walked towards a girl, with long blonde hair with perfect princess curls.
"Hi, Piper." Annabeth greeted her.
"Hey," Piper welcomed back. "I need to ask anda something, atau rather, tell anda something."
"Go on," Annabeth said.
"Jason has a girfriend from the Roman Camp!" Piper blurted without thinking. Piper slapped her hand to her mouth in embarrassment.
She was too busy being humiliated to notice Annabeth's look of shear horror. Almost. In saat it was gone, Piper wasn't sure she saw that facial expression in the first place, although she knew she had.
Annabeth turned away, Piper waited for her reply though none came.
"Hello?" she asked. "Hello!"
Annabeth did nothing but stare blankly ahead.
"Annabeth?" Piper could've sworn she heard Annabeth wimper like Lacy had earlier that day.
"Annabeth!? Listen to me, I don't know what's going to happen to me while my life is being messed around with sejak Hera! My life...its...its falling apart! I don't know who I am!"
Annabeth's face contorted into a strange look, understanding mixed with fear and--was that anger, sadness? Why was Annabeth afraid of Piper?
"Annabeth!?" Piper demanded. Annabetb slowly faced towards Piper, she had to look away in discomfort for a moment but resumed looking towards her as Annabeth started to speak.
"Who are anda Piper? That is a good question," Annabeth mused trying to keep her voice steady, but to Piper it was obvious that her voice was unstable. "You're great. anda are," she gulped. "The girl that all the boys stare at, the girls want to be Friends with you--they like you. anda are so utterly normal and everything. Everyone likes anda and the worst, the absolute worst thing is that anda are so nice. So--freakin--nice," Annabeth clenched her hands into a fist. "And no one can resist wanting to be near you--”
"I don't understand, Annabeth." Piper interrupted, with a confused look on her face.
"Wait, I am not done. Piper, I can't help you, because if I help you, I am losing my boyfriend. Piper, I am the Reyna in your situation, and I am deathly scared of you." Annabeth paled and took a shaky breath. "I can't...I can't do this Piper." 
Piper looked up at her and saw the scared expression a seven tahun old would have a of a monster in their eyes. Am I the monster? Piper thought. "I can't do this Piper. I am scared of you, the other woman, the one that can steal Percy from me." She sat up and got off the log, taking an uneven step back. "I am, so sorry Piper. I just, I can't--”
Piper didn't let her finish her sentence, she then gripped her arm and cried. She kept talking to Annabeth about how ashamed she was and Piper hadn't ever thought of the first girl, the first Cinta that Piper had damaged forever.
"I didn't know, Annabeth." she ending, desperatly clinging to the hope that Annabeth would understand but the only expression on Annabeth's face was shock. 
"I forgive you." Annabeth muttered before giving into a small fit of silent tears. Piper could tell Annabeth was not angry at Piper but Piper still felt alien to these people. Who was she? The back stabbing boy-friend stealer? Piper gave into her own sobs and gripped Annabeth's arm tightly. She wanted hope that she wasn't alone, that people still cared for her feelings. But of course she didn't find sympathy.
 "I have to go." Annabeth sniffed awkwardly. "Piper," Annabeth sighed. "I don't know what to do anymore." She walked away, leaving Piper to think about the choice that can ruin someone's life forever. What could she do? The damage was done, and would lay forever in Piper's heart. She let out a large sob that racked her body that made her shiver despite the warming temperatures. Piper got up, brushed herself off and made her way back to camp, her eyes rimmed with merah jambu skin and heavy tears, threatening to spill at any moment. Who was Piper? And what had she done?
