I was getting bored of staring at a blank wall, so I decided to go for a walk. The storm outside banged against the rainy, cold air, and the rain patted against my window in a insteady, beautiful beat. I didn't care that it was raining outside, atau that it was twelve o'clock at night. I threw my dark grey baju panas, sweatshirt on and my Converse and snuck out of my room. As I stepped down the stairs they creeked loudly and I prayed that niether one of my paretns had woken up. I stepped lighter down the stairs until i felt the hardwood floor undernieth my foot. I quietly stepped towards the door, noticing my thirteen tahun old brother, Max was sleeping on the couch. I grasped the cold doorknob and flew outside. As I walked outside I could feel the rain soak into my sweatshirt. i threw my hud, hood over my head and shoved my hands into my pockets. i walked along the streets, cars that drove sejak me honked, telling me to go back home. It was very cold out and the rain made the air around foggy. I looked aroud and saw only myself in the reflection of the puddles. I sat down under a pokok and watched the cars drive by. I hugged my knees o my chest and rested my head on my knees. I waited for a reason to pop in my head for why I was here, siting under a tree.
"What are anda doing under a tree?" I heard a voice asked me. I didn't look up. I didn't move. The person knelt down seterusnya to me and put their hand on my shoulder. their hand was small and wet.
"Onyx...are anda okay?" The person's voice spoke again, breaking the silence. Just then I looked up, overcoming my urge not to look up. I turned my head and saw Gwen looking at me. Her hair was wet and the water droplets were dripping down her face. Her eyes were wide and they were shining in the moon light that reflected off of her face. I smiled lightly, glad to see my cousin here with me.
"Do anda want to come to Duncan's house with me? Everyone's there...it's a party." She spoke again.
"How did anda know where I was?" I asked turning back to my knees and hugging them tighter.
"Duncan saw anda walk sejak his house. He was gonna come get anda but then he had to go get piza." Her voice skreached in the night. Gwen stood up and held out her hand. I looked up one lebih time and took her hand. She helped me up and we walked to Duncan's house...
