Chapter 10
Normal will never be a part of me
I was trying to persuade the doctor to let me go but it wasn’t working. When all of a sudden Cadence burst through the door.
“Cadence!” I yelled, pleased to see another familiar face.
“Destiny! Are anda okay?” Cadence replied rushing over to me.
I nodded. “Better.”
“You freaked me out, Jessica called me, and the news was all over it.”
“The news?”
Cadence nodded. “You know those reporters flock to any story they can get, and when the younger sister of the murdered Dorothy faints, the reporters are like animals.”
I sighed. “What I’d give to be normal for just one day.”
“Then there’s no adventure,” Cadence paused. “Jessica told me what happened.”
“Can anda say Jess? anda sound like a grown up.”
“I am,” Cadence says defensively, but continues. “Jess told me what happened.”
“The vision?” I clarified.
Cadence nods at me, looking everywhere but my eyes. He knows this a touchy subject and doesn’t want to anger atau upset me.
“She was there, she pushed the girl. I still can’t believe it!”
“Destiny,” Cadence pauses glancing at me nervously. “Not everyone is sunshine and cupcakes, to you, maybe, but to others, not so much. anda were her younger sister stuck with the fighting parents, of course she’d be way lebih gentle than normal, and she loves you.”
“We barely got into fights,” I tell him. “And if we did it didn’t last long. We were always just so…close and connected. But after seeing that vision, I feel like I never knew her at all.”
“Well, people are like that. Maybe it was her friends, her Friends didn’t seem nice, did they?”
“Not one bit,” I admit. “I’ve never seen them before, not at all. This town is pretty small, they’d have to go shopping for supplies sometimes. But it seems like they never really existed here.”
“Uncle Rob berkata they were always on that darn boat. Maybe they got followers to get them, and your sister just happened to menyeberang, cross paths.”
“And Dorothy immediately got excepted, and I had this other vision where she was shopping and then she headed to that boat, I think it’s the same boat.”
Cadence nodded. “Maybe.”
“Cadence? Can I ask anda something?” I ask after a few minutes, covering my shaking hands.
“Sure,” Cadence says, looking at me.
“Didn’t anda ever find it weird, that I had these visions?”
I wait for him to speak, I cowardly studied the sheets on my hospital bed. For a few saat nothing happens, but then his hand is under my chin and tilts my head up at him.
“Just because anda can see things other’s can’t, doesn’t make it fake. There’s so many beliefs out there, it’s hard to decipher which one is true. But for some reason I know your telling the truth, and I believe your every word. Don’t back away Destiny, I’m here for you, I’m not leaving any time soon.”
“You believe me?” I ask, feeling a small smile play on my lips.
“Always.” Cadence confirms. “And anyways, if there was a number one suspect that I’d have who killed anda sister, I’d put all my money on one of her friends, and maybe even her mother.”
He kisses me on my forehead, and swiftly leaves the room, leaving me to my thoughts.
I hate to admit it, but he might just be right.

Tell me darling why anda cry,
Your tears stain the katil anda lay upon
Could it be anda miss the ones anda clung to so tight,
Nothing but a scared little fawn
The flames burnt away your past and future,
The hate did nothing but balance your grief
What now? That’s presents question,
Something so fragile like a branch being clung to sejak a leaf
Where is your mother little dove?
What happened to those loving others who filled your empty nest?
How many word of the world can anda rhyme with love?
Perhaps someday we will know with, proper care and rest
When pursuing dreams take chances and strive for nothing less than best
Then only then can anda be sure you’ve completed life’s most demanding quest
Your tears stain the katil anda lay upon
Could it be anda miss the ones anda clung to so tight,
Nothing but a scared little fawn
The flames burnt away your past and future,
The hate did nothing but balance your grief
What now? That’s presents question,

Perhaps someday we will know with, proper care and rest
When pursuing dreams take chances and strive for nothing less than best
Then only then can anda be sure you’ve completed life’s most demanding quest
Soar, soar
Soar beyond your wildest dreams.....
There's no limit
On how much anda can soar
No one can
Break your wings and kill you
Soar for the skies,
Don't let the feelin go
Just soar, soar like never before
No one's gonna stop you
From believin
There wasn't a time
When nobody could never soar
But there was a time
When people never believed
And tomorrow
Isn't the hari to fall
And nobody's gonna push anda down
Oh almighty eagle
We're gonna be the powerful eagles
We're not gonna let anyone
Be our ruler,
We're not anyone's slave
Almighty eagle
Oh soar, soar towards the sky's height
And soar toward your dream
Let nothing keep anda away
Almighty eagle
Soar beyond your wildest dreams
And we're gonna fly tonight
Let nobody keep us down.
Life can be hard. Especially for me, Lily West, your almost-average 16-year-old girl. Most people think it's weird I'm bald. Others think I'm going to die. Then there's the occasional person who tries to take pity upon me. I'd rather they not, because some say it like I'm a helpless little penyu on its back. Sometimes I wish I die already, and sometimes I wish that I was a completely different person. Yes, it's tough having cancer. I just wish that they would respect me for a person instead of a helpless little bug.
