My alarm went off telling me that my nightmare aka combat training with Dimitri was about to begin in a half hour. Although I wanted to go back to sleep like any other normal person in the neighborhood, I came out of bed, dressed and went downstairs to eat something light. I knew the consequences if I wasn’t on time, Dimitri would give me one hell of an keldai whooping training and I would be the one who would get the post punches. Dimitri was one of my father’s best fighters and God knows how many battles he’d won, the guy was fast as hell. I could only guess what kind of training he would have planned for today, each time it was something else and each time I was the one who landed on their keldai atau another part of my body. With that in mind I closed the door behind me and followed Dimitri’s scent to a small forest where nobody could see nor hear us. He leaned against a pokok not a single movement to detect from him, but I know he’d heard me coming, those eyes of his saw everything. Even if he didn’t see me he would be able to smell atau hear me coming, those senses were enhanced because of the creature he is. “Morning princess, ready for your training?” he pushed himself from the pokok bark so he could look at me. I knew that he hadn’t asked a question, there was no ‘if’ atau ‘maybe’ with him. “So what kind of training do anda have planned for me today? I know it’s one where my keldai gets to be the first one to make contact with the ground, so spill” he looked amused “Well how does running and fighting off your opponent sound?” I knew that I was in trouble, but I couldn’t say no to the idea that maybe just maybe, today would be my change to win from him. But then again I was talking about Dimitri, a very skilled fighter, so much for wishful thinking. At first it seemed that I was outrunning him, but he wanted me to think that, the moment my attention wavered he got me and I fell flat onto my back. “Don’t get to confidante! Come on let’s do that again” the training was repeated a few times more; in the end I Lost track of all the times I hit the ground. “When was the last time anda fed?” I knew he wasn’t talking about normal food. “When I was at dad’s” he looked worried at my answer “you know what can happen if anda don’t feed on time, don’t you?” My body was sore from the whole training and I hated when he, my mom atau my dad brought up the topic. “I’m doing fine Dimitri, so can we just skip it!” He raised his hands up in surrender “as anda wish, I’ll be keeping an eye on anda so please, do behave!” I gave him my most innocent simile “wouldn’t think of disobeying your orders, now would I?” I had a tendency of getting into trouble when I was mad atau annoyed. He just shook his head and in a blink of an eye he left. Dimitri had kicked the sleep right out of me so instead of going back to my warm katil I walked to the small café, the only café in this town the be exact. It was eight o’clock in the morning so there weren’t much people inside, so nobody paid much attention to the girl who walked inside with a face that berkata my keldai got kicked for four hours sejak my trainer/bodyguard and I haven’t gotten enough sleep. I ordered for a black coffee without sugar and a hearty breakfast when he and his whole pack came walking in. I didn’t need to look up to know if he was with them, I could easily smell him and my mouth began to water the very instant I breathed in his scent. This wasn’t good! I felt my gums itching, not a good sign at all, and I felt my fangs grow inch sejak inch. I closed my eyes to concentrate, my breathing had become uneven, but with a bit of luck I succeeded in retracting them.
