Chapter 22: Seeing Red

The pain was almost unbearable. Growing hotter and hotter running through my limbs. I wanted to drop whatever was causing such a painful feeling, but nothing lay in my arms. All i saw was darkness, parylized sejak pain.

I never imagined a sensation hotter then api, kebakaran itself. The time i was attacked sejak Alex, that was nothing compared to what now burned inside me.
It seemed the burning grew- rising and peaking and rising lebih until the sensation surpassed logical feel.

Through all this, i couldn't make a sound. I wanted to scream, but i couldn't. My voice had been taken away from me as i lay there in the scorching fire.


Although being placed in api, kebakaran would've been a much less painful punishment.
My hati, tengah-tengah started to beat faster amd faster until i could feel it about to pop right out of my chest. It burned lebih then any other part of me. Being set ablaze sejak the flame that incarcerated me.

Each minit that passed seemed like a decade. I was cut off from the outside world, stuck in my box of darkness. I could swear i felt as if i was being moved, but i doubted it.

I started to get used to the feeling of fire, as used to it as one person is able to get. Nothing happened until alittle while after the initial burn. Nothing happened until my pain was doubled. My hati, tengah-tengah beated even faster, i could hear it echo throughout my ears. The api, kebakaran took course through my body, boiling my blood.

Suddenly the beat slowed, and came to a stop. The api, kebakaran started to leave my body. I didn't move, atau try to alih until it completely fade from my fingertips. Blackness still surrounded me, i tried to fight it, but it was no use. I let it cover me. Anyways it felt much better then the pain that rose before.

I lay there, not opening my eyes. I suddenly felt somthing very hot against my skin. I flinched at the touch, hoping the api, kebakaran wouldn't come back, but it did. Except this time it didn't travel through my body, but through my throat. It burned, and this feeling wasn't an uncommon feeling.

It was the feeling of thirst. And this time it felt excelerated, too excelerated. T
he api, kebakaran ripped through my throat, burning everything in it way up to my mouth.A pahit taste of liquid flowed through my mouth as i caught the scent of whatever was near me. my mucles tightened, ready to pounce.

I slowly opened my eyes, very cautioned. I decided i would not hurt whatever was near me. I would need to be very patient and extremely careful.

I was laid on a katil back up in my chambers. i felt the fabric around me as i awoke from my state of horror. I noticed a woman standing over me, she gasped as i opened my eyes. The human woman had a rounded face and looked quite surprised. Her brown eyes staring into my wonderus expression. I almost gasped as well, but i was too obsorbed.

"Impossible" She whispered in italian. She rushed her way out of the room, in such a hurry a gust of wind left in her place.

The scent blew right sejak me again, causing me to react in such a way as i had before. My throat burned once more, my mucles tightened and the excess liquid flowed through my mouth.

I looked up at the lights that laid above me on the ceiling. How wonderful everything looked, so detailed. Colours were much lebih vibrant then before, and there was another colour that i couldn't quite place. I had never seen it before in my life atau exsistance rather.It seemed as a mix between indigo and fusia. It laid bewteen the crystals of light the shone bright on me.

I looked down, examining myself. As i lay under the bright light i noticed tiny crystals that had formed on my skin, much like the ones my family had. Suddenly it hit me. I didn't die, i was much in exsistance.

"NO!" i gasped in horror. I jumped out of the bed, making my way to the bathroom in such a speed i had never gone before. I looked up at the mirrors that covered the bathroom wall, staring into the reflection on a fimiliar figure.
But the girl staring back at me wasn't what i expected. I stumbled back in surprised.

I ran my fingers across my cheekbones, and the girl in the mirror did the exact same thing. She had glorious bloodred eyes that stared horror-struck into mine.

Her skin was just the tiniest shade whiter and her skin only faintly sparkling under the darker lighting. And i was almost sure her skin was ice cold just as the others.

"No." I whispered once more, in awe.

This couldn't be happening, but it was. I am a vampire and the girl staring back at me in the mirror was infact myself. With no trace of human left in me, no trace of who i am - was. My jaw slung open only the slightest bit.

I would've cried if i had any tears to do so.

I could never go back to my family now, not like this. How would I - I just could not. I imagined Jacobs face as he would take in my new self. Looking into my deep red eyes with the same horror - struck expression as i would have.

I looked at the girl in the mirror - myself - wishing it would all go away, hoping for a bad dream. My prayers were intrerupted sejak the quick shuffling of feet. I quickly turned around to see the volturi standing out in the main room.

Aro, Caius, Marcus, Jane and Demetri stood there each with astonished expressions.

"Renesmee?" I heard Aro say as he took a step before me. He brushed his fingers lightly over my skin. I jumped back the slightest bit. I hadn't expected his normaly cold fingers to feel so warm against my skin.

"Aro!" I hear Caius exclaim. "It's only been a few hours, how is it even possible that the transformatin is finished?"

"I don't know" He admited taking a step back.

"Could it be that most of her atrributes were already "vampires esque"?" Marcus

"It's quite possible." Aro berkata once more, still astonished.

Suddenly the door swung open again, except this time Alec stood in the doorway. His expression was shocked. He stared wide eyed at me, watching my pantas, swift movements.

I fixed my eyes on him and glared angrily "YOU!" i spat through my teeth. "You did this to me!" I exclaimed enfuriated.

I went to run for him. I wasn't dure whether it was to attack him atau somthing else. Hs hands were up as if to defend himself. I felt my legs moving quit fast under me, but i soon came to a hault.

I was being restrained sejak Jane and Demetri. They used all thier strength in attempted to hold me back. And surprisingly, they were having difficulties.

"LET ME GO!" I growled invoulentarly. Although it hadn't seemed to phase anyone.

"You must calm down" Aro berkata soothingly, although it only annoyed me more.

"Calm down!" I snorted "Look at me!"

The room was silent. It was true, i did have a reason to be angry. I felt so confused and my emotions were taking over me.

"Renesmee, i am so sor-"

I threw him a glare, and he was silent. There was still a api, kebakaran that burned through my throat. I couldn't speak anymore, the sensation had over powered me. Aro walked sejak me, brushing against my hand in the process.

An image of him letting me go out into the night, be free flashed through my mind.

"Yes." I whispered as he walked to the right, pacing.

His head flashed up, "How did you-?"

"I guess it isn't only her strength and speed that have increased" I heard demetri remark, struggling to keep me still.

I looked up at Aro ignoring demetri's silent plead for me to keep still.

"It's what i want. There has been enough damage done, wouldn't anda agree?" I berkata acidly.

I stared into each rock hard face, wishing i could run. I would much rather go utama then stay here awaiting whatever they had in store.

Aro turned to me, with regretful eyes. "You still have your one year" He berkata quietly, awaiting for somebody to protest, but nobody did. Not even Alec. I was slowly released. Having my arms free, and my head straight i decided not to attack Alec.

I had a feeling my family would do that for me.
"You might want to leave now while it is dark." Marcus berkata eyeing the night window.

"Maybe she should hunt first.." Alec suggested, his eyes painful.

I berkata nothing, leaving the room in a hurry.

"Renesmee.." His voice pleaded, but i walked on. The walk turned into a quick pace, then a full on run. The walls were blurs that passed sejak me. Ancient drapery waved it's way past as the wind flew through my curls.
