I satred down at the bump on my stomach. It could only mean one thing. Pregnant. I started hyperventiltaing and fell into Edwards arms again.
"Easy Bella," he comforted me. "Take it easy, okay?"
A feeling of calm suddenly washed though me. Jasper. I glared at him out of the corner of my tear-stained eye.
"Bella?" Carlisle asked. "How do anda feel?"
I gaped at him. Then I recovered and touched my stomach gingerly with the finger of my right hand. I winced. It still stung a little bit.
"Bella?" Carlisle asked me again. 'Can I see anda upstairs. anda know, check the baby out and everything."
I nodded weakly, and tried to get up. Edward put his arm around my wasit, and gently pulled me up. He walked me to Carlisles office, and then waited outside.
Carlisle lifted my bahagian, atas up to expose my stomach, and wrapped a piece of mesuring tape around it. He muttered something to himself, and wrapped it around again, though I saw no need why. He had perfect recall, he was a Vampires for gods sake!
Edward came in and berkata something to Carlisle I couldn't hear. carlisle shook his head. Edward than wrapped his arm around my waist and asked him something else I couldn't ehar.
"What is going on here?" I yelled. "God, why cant anda discuss it in front of me.
Edward gave me a quizzical look. "We are in front of you, Bella,"
"You know what I mean," I berkata back to him. "What is up?'
"Its nothing anda need to worry about Bella. The baby will bve fully grown a little before we planned, thats all." Carlisle told me.
"Like I didn't know that!" I replied, exasperated. "I've been pregant for 14 hours at best and AI have a bump. How much sooner than planned"
Edward sighed. "You have eight days," he told me quietly.
I was stunned. Whatever happened to nine months. Then I felt something well up in my stomach and I raced to a sink and knelt over it as I vomited up a mata air, air pancut of blood.

The rest of the hari passed in a blur. I vaguely remebered being passed from pair of cold arms to cold arms, the shocked looks as Carlisle mesured my stomach every hour, and Edward. He was a wreck. No matter how much this tortured him, he was determined to stay near me, rocking me to sleep in his cold arms.
And I remembered the pain.
The pain was always with me, sometimes flaring up, making me scream, and at other times just hovering in the background.
I had just woken up, and was on the sofa, kerusi panjang in Edwards arms when somehing totally unexpected happened. Someone knocked on the door, and Carlisle went to open it. I heard Sam, and Jacobs voice asking about me, and Carlisles uneasy lie. According to everyone, I had jumped off a cliff, and committed suicide. Edward had let Alice fabricate eveidence again, and I didn't want to see what she had done.
Jacobs voice was suddenly louder, demanding to see me, he knew I was here, he could smell the scent. He pushed past Carlisle and stopped dead in his tracks when he saw me.
"Bella, what are anda doing here?" he hissed.
"Leave it Jacob," I told him.
"Bella," he berkata warily.
I sighed. "Can we discuss this outside? Please?"
The Cullens were staring at me now.
"Bella, im not letting anda go. Not without one of us," Edward told me.
I looked into his eyes and saw that there was no point arguing. "Fine then," I sighed. "Alice?"
She bundled me up into her arms and sprang outside with me, following the Serigala out into the forest. We were about two miles out when they stopped and set me down.
"Alice, go back to the house," I said, all the time keeping my eyes on Jacobs face. None of them had noticed my bump-at least, not yet.
She hissed. "No. Do anda know what Edward would do to anda if I leftyou unprotected and surronded sejak werewolves"
I sighed. "Not exactly unprotected" I mutterred under my breath.
Alice looked at me warily. 'Bella?'
I sighed. "i'll expalin later, alright. Just lets get this out of the way first"
She nodded, and i looked at Sam, waiting for the torrent of words to begin
"bella," he said. "What are anda doing. Why do yyou insist on putting the whole pack in danger, not to emntion yourself,"
"You can't expect me to stay away from Edward," I told him.
"But anda have no idea what you're doing. The danger for you, for all of us. anda know anda can't be around thenm, so why do anda insist on disobeying the rules"
My answer was simple. "Love."
he exhaled shaply. "Bella, please end this madness. Please"
My answer was simpler this time. "No."
'Fine. But dont expect to be a part of this pack anymore."
I could almost hear Alices thoughts rejecting the stament. i turned to her. 'yes,. its true. Im a werewolf."
"Edward," she gasped.
'I know. There's a reason why I didn't tell anda this. But anda can't let Edward know. You're the best at hiding your thoughts. Please, Alice, please do this for me.'
She nodded slowly. "I cant do it forever though. Sooner atau later, somthing will slip."
i nodded. "Its only for a few days. Until I can figure out something."
the Serigala Jadian had all but lweft when I turned around, and heard them gasp. Their eyes were fixated on my stomach.
Great, this gets better and better, I thought to myself. "Yes, Im pregant. Before anda ask, its Edwards. And I know its a danger, but please just go." I told them.
They left, and I felt them all phase into their serigala, wolf forms. the exhastion of the hari cought up with me, and I fell asleep in Alices arms to the sound of wind rushing past my ears
