I try to rate so much i can but some thins are pointless to rate so i just rate them 1-2 Fanpops stars but other than that i rate them 5 stars.

there was actually a question posted up here about how most ppl here (and we're talking about more than 25000 members) don't rate things at all... so i put up this pick to see of how many ppl we're talking about here..
i rate thing regularly.. everything i see here i rate and i'm very angry when i post sth (like link) and no one rates it for hours or is just rated by one person..
i rate most things with 5 cause when someone who posted that is encouraged to post more.. of course there are some things that are pointless to rate so i give them 1-2 but that's really rare...
i just want ppl to rate more..

awww thank you.. well in the beginning i was also rating just things i liked but now if someone posted a news that was posted like 5 more times i'll rate it with 2-3 but as i sad that's sth i rarely do..
if you encourage ppl by giving them a good rate they will be more involved and eager to search for new things.
i don't feel encouraged when i'm not rated..

I rate icons and videos the most-it doesn't take much time and you get to see what people have made in the process!

Yeah, I rate things every day from almost anything that can be rated. Usually if I take the time to visit something than I'll rate it because like laureng114 said, they took the time to upload it, so we should take the time to rate it since we already have seen it.
