um ok I am not sure what you are asking but if you are asking why is dracula different from other vampires I think his is just the stereo-typical vampire with the whole sunlight, garlic, stake thru the heart can kill ya basics of what vampire are suppose to be and the whole sleeping in coffin thing, but today's vampire's have more depth to there character like the beatuiful edward or the awesome mick st. john on moonlight or even blade there is more to the character now a days instead of the gruesome scary thing of the past.

Well it also depends on the particular mythology or lore you're looking at, because books and shows portray vampires differently. In Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the difference between Dracula and other vampires is that Dracula can rematerialize even after being staked and he can actually turn into a bat, unlike other vampires.

ha thanks for da answers. when i think of dracula and vampire i always think dracula's are those typical blood drinkers who look really wrinkly and horny, but i always see vampires as you know more civilised, not only living for blood but for other things...?
