So back when I was talking about Saints Row IV, I mentioned that I prefer the Penulisan of GTA lebih than the Penulisan of the Saints Row games, but because of the gameplay and the sheer madness anda get from the franchise, I was lebih fond of the Saints Row games. And no game speaks massive volumes of unadulterated fun than Saints Row 2
Being a sequel to a game I did not originally play first, anda play as a member of the fallen Third jalan Saints gang, who fell apart a few years later due to much lebih powerful gangs getting involved and the company Ultor cracking down on gangs. So, after escaping prison, anda begin your rise to power, taking out the three major gangs of the city, the drug dealing Sons of Samedi, the Japanese biker gang Ronin and the mechanic strongarm gang The Brotherhood. From the start, this game is clearly a GTA clone, and the first game was just that. But as I played lebih of Saints Row, I felt like it was way too much fun to just be considered a clone. For starters, when anda run over people, they go flying, unlike in four, where they just drag underneath your car and then no one is having fun. Okay, but seriously, the game has a ton of variety for you. Aside from choosing how anda experience the story in any order anda want, you’ve got a ton of Activities for anda to complete with a dozen great rewards. Activities such as Septic Avenger, where anda shoot shit at buildings. Crowd Control, where anda grab crazed peminat-peminat and throw them into objects for points. Fight Club, which the name says it all. And my personal favorite, FUZZ, a COPS parody where anda go and fix crimes through police brutality. The stuff anda unlock ranges from item upgrades to discounts at stores to new vehicles to new weapons. There is a ton of great stuff to unlock that makes the game a lot of fun to try out. anda also have the chance to increase your stock sejak taking over gang territory, anda can collect all sorts of things like CDs for bonus Muzik and do challenges to get customizable items. anda can also unlock special gang members and story stuff if anda just cari around. If anda call a specific number, anda can get a new character to help anda in fights. If anda explore the police station, anda can unlock a secret mission. This game is just a ton of fun to go around and explore. I spent so much time in Saints Row 2 just screwing around and see what else there was to do. I even did the Barnstorming and even Drive-Bys. Freaking Drive-Bys. The most useless thing in this game that unlocks nothing, all because I wanted to see what this game had to offer. It was so much fun to go around and explore and destroy and I wanted lebih of that.
Saints Row is an odd franchise. Some people consider the old games a GTA clone, but it had its fans, which ended up hating Saints Row 3 and 4 for changing the formula, but that also got its own fans. Personally, I can like both of them. But I don’t think anything will compare to the crazy, fun feeling I got when playing Saints Row 2
