Everyone looked up and saw the Dark Knight standing on the landing pad.
“Welcome back Gambette” he said
“Batman” I nodded curtly. I walked up the stairs to see the Dark Knight in all his dark, brooding glory.
“So, anda gunna let me leave?” I asked
“No” he shook his head. I saw a lady with blonde hair walk by.
“Okay. Then I might as well familiarize myself with the base” I shrugged, running off. I sprinted after the lady.
“Excuse me!” I called. She stopped and turned around.
“I’m Gambette. Can anda authorize me leaving the cave?” I asked
“I’m Black Canary. And sure” she nodded. We walked to the teleporters and it scanned her.
“Where to?” she asked
“Far away” I said. She nodded.
“Is New York okay?”
“Perfect” I grinned.
“Recognized; Black Canary B15, Gambette, B08” the computer said. I saw Batman running in. I walked quickly into the bright light. I smirked and waved over my shoulder. I walked out and found myself in Gotham.
“Shit” I muttered. I ran down the ally. Batman was not far behind, along with Robin. I ran as fast as I could. Soon, I found myself at the edge of Gotham. I ran into the forest surrounding the dark city. With a dark cackle, I jumped into the trees. I tapped the ear piece on my ear.
“Domino. I need emergency pick up, NOW!” I said
“Where are you?” she asked
“Use the GPS!” I instructed.
“Got it. Be there a.s.a.p” she said. I froze, un-moving. I saw Batman and Robin walk under me. I held my breath. I felt my hand begin to slip. My hair shot out and silently wrapped around a branch to steady me. The Dynamic Dou stopped and looked around. In the distance, I heard the put-put-put of a helicopter. It grew louder and louder. Finally, it was right over head. A ladder was thrown down. I grabbed it and the helicopter started ascending again. Batman and Robin looked up.
“Cut the line” Batman barked. I climbed up it quickly. I grabbed onto the metal right as a bird-a-rang cut the ladder. I was dangling for a few hati, tengah-tengah stopping seconds. Then, two hands pulled me in. I looked up and found Kurt standing there.
“Kurt” I exclaimed, hugging him.
“Gambette! It is so good to see you” he smiled. We walked to the front where Domino was driving.
“Thanks for the quick save, D” I sighed
“No problem, Gambette” she shrugged

"Well, it doesn't seem like we have much of a choice... but we have to get the team back together."

"We were the only ones able to stop it the first time, and we're the only ones able to stop it now."
There was a sigh, and a turn of the head to the third person in the room.
"You sent out the birds, right?"
"Everyone should be here in at least 24 hours."
"Not enough time..."
"When is there ever?"
"Don't know, but I'm sure we're going to need the entire team to make this happen."
The saat person finally chimed back in, "You do know that I told all my Leauger Friends that Maura killed anda guys, right?"
"You what?"
"I don't know! It was a 'spur-of-the-moment' kind of thing!"
