She closed her eyes against the darkness. There was no way around it. She was useless here.
Why do anda stay when anda can't help? Go home! She moaned and rolled over on her bed. 3:00 in the morning. She sighed and got up, slipping her uniform on. Screw curfew! I'll never get to sleep. She walked out of the mountain, not caring about the chilling rain. She walked into town. She knew it would be inactive. But that was better. She wanted it that way. Walking towards a building still open, she played around with the trench kot on her back, hiding the weapons on her. She entered the bar grudgingly. She wasn't a peminat of drinking. But it was the only dry place she could be without worrying. She sat at a table, ignoring stares and glances.
She pulled her glasses off, shivering slightly as warmth enveloped her. She moved a little, relaxing. The Muzik played in her ears and the sounds of the pool meja, jadual echoed. She ordered a ginger ale and wrapped her icy hands around the cup. Everything felt out of place. She looked around and saw a boy sitting at a corner booth. He looked up at her then back down the notebook in his hand. She looked away and played with the deck of cards in her pocket. Cards had always helped her to think. Halfway in her turmoil, she felt eyes on her.
She looked over to see the boy looking at her. He noticed her gaze and blushed, looking back down. She smiled for an instant. But it faded as her thoughts worked up again. She looked back to her game and thought more. You're so stupid! Just go home! anda couldn't even help a civilian! Call utama and get on the seterusnya flight over! She sighed and took a sip of her drink. Her mind was made up. She was useless to this team. She would go back utama tomorrow. She put her cards away and finished the drink, leaving money on the table. A hand covered hers. She looked up to see the boy from across the bar. She could now see it was Aroan.
“Don't give up on that dream Tara. We all need you.”
He placed a paper in front of her and walked outside. She looked down to see a picture of her. Not Midnight, not the Tara people usually saw. The real her. Being herself. She took it and ran outside. Aroan leaned against the building, holding an umbrella.
“let's head back now and Red Tornado will never know this happened.”
Tara nodded, a smile on her face.

Another OC Poem
A team is a puzzle of armor,
Many of a single piece.
Fitting together with perfect precision,
Securing every chink.
(1)Fighting the shadows,
(2)Controlling the hidden,
(3)Creating a flame,
To do your bidding.
(4)Flying high as a sparrow,
(5)Wise as a leaf,
(6)Traveling in shadows,
Quick as a thief.
(7)A Phoenix fallen from grace,
(8)Plummet from the heaven,
(9)A dark winged angel,
To catch the fallen.
(10)Measure our distances speed,
(11)Put a speedster to sleep.
(12)Manipulate a natural law,
(13)Dive a hundred miles deep.
Every chink of armor,
Protected from harm.
A total set, invincibility,
No cause for alarm.
I was feeling really guilty for taking soooo long to post this. I'll do another with any remaining OCs I've missed because I know I missed many.
