I ran through the forest looking for flashes of colour. Every now and then, I would stop and look in the trees. I looked on the ground for tracks. I saw small human feet tracks, bird tracks and dog tracks. I followed the tracks through the undergrowth, up to an old oak tree. I climbed up with ease. I searched through the branches. Nothing. I look around the base and realized whoever left the tracks must’ve climbed up and around the pokok and then jumped down because on the opposite side, the same tracks were heading off. I heard something rustle in the undergrowth, then Kalder walked into the clearing. I smiled then jumped on his back. He freaked out and tried to shake me until I said: “Woah, take it easy Kalder. anda might actually manage to get me off your back if anda keep this up!” I jumped off and laughed
“What was that for?” he demanded
“More fun that way!” I explained happily. “We have tracks to follow, partner!” We followed the tracks to a large bush. I smiled when I heard voices from inside of it.
“Shut up, Wally. I think I heard something” berkata the unmistakable voice of Artemis.
“You did not just tell me to shut up” Wally complained. I looked at Kalder, pointed to the belukar, bush and winked.
“Hey, Kalder, where do anda think we should look next?” I asked loudly
“I don’t know Night. Wally and Artemis are obviously too good at this game for us to find them” Kalder replied.
“Let’s retrace our steps and go back the way we came” I said, pointing for him to go around the other way.
“Good idea” he walked out of the clearing the way we came, then circled back while I jumped up into the nearest pokok over looking the clearing. I saw the belukar, bush rustle and Wally and Artemis emerged. I jumped down and Kalder came out of his hiding spot.
“You are now part of the ‘It’ team” I announced, touching their shoulders
“Did anda know that we were there the whole time?” Wally asked
“Yup” I smiled “I heard anda two talking”
“I told anda to shut up!” Artemis exclaimed
“And I told anda that the hiding spot sucked!” Wally retaliated
“Calm down anda two” Kalder intervened
“Okay. Our seterusnya priority should be finding Megan” I said
“And how are we supposed to do that?” Wally asked
“I think I might have an idea, but it’s tricky” I warned
“I think we can handle it” Artemis smiled
“What was that for?” he demanded
