The wind curled around the rain-drenched mountain, and light rolled down to the bay as a red ship flew in the hanger. The teens inside were solemn and cold. The silence screamed tragedy, and even without this, it was clear on the faces of the team. Robin, Fin and Delta all sat on the couch, each of them shivering in a blanket except Fin, who stared blankly into space. Aisling sat curled with Wally, and Zatanna had her feet in a bucket of warm water, sneezing every couple of seconds. Artemis and Megan had gone to bed, also sneezing with runny noses.
Kaldur and Conner both entered the main rooms of the cave and everyone looked towards them with hope in their hearts. Kaldur lowered his head, and Conner looked away- a sign that crushed any glimmer of chance in everyone's mind.

But the noise never reached him, and he continued to speed away from her, attepting to find the bioship, but going in the opposite direction. She went in the correct direction, screaming desperately. "Nathan!!"
