"I don't think this is a very good idea," Flash admitted, never taking his eyes off the screen. The view through the security camera was of a young girl in shades performing perfect simulations. Her balance never faltered as she went front a side kick to a fore-arm block to a back handspring, landing in a ready position. It was as if the blade in her hand had magically appeared.
"If you're worried about her being a bad influence on the others, they can handle themselves," Black Canary reassured, then added, "That includes your little speedster."
"I'm not worried about Wally atau the others."
"Then what's the problem?" Canary asked. Silver was going through pisau handling, her movements fluid. "She can fight, she's fast, intelligent."
"You're guessing," Green Arrow accused.
"Really? She retrieved the Weapon, didn't she?" Canary swept her gaze from Flash to Green Arrow and then to Batman, who had been silent for the duration for the controversy. "Bats?"
The Dark Knight kept a steady gaze on the live video feed. "Let's let the team decide. If they have to work with her, they'll need to trust her."

I had been practicing for nearly an jam now. It was all I could do to keep from thinking too much about my current situation, getting Lost in the familiar movement of the simulations of my training. It was how I'd always delt with shock. Anger. Frustration. Pain.
Quarter to 9 I finally gave into the throbbing in my ankle, half limping to my water bottle at the edge of the simulation deck. As I glugged the refreshing agua, a few of the junior Heroes came into the room through the kitchen. They froze when they saw me, as if they were surprised to realize I was actually here. I didn't blame them. Me being in the Jr. Justice Leaguer's HQ still didn't seem very real to me either.
I had spent half the night wondering about it, twirling the silver Angel charm that hung around my neck, now tucked beneath my tank-top. I should have been punished, most likely imprisoned for my crime agianst justice. Instead I was in the base of a team who fought for... Justice? I couldn't wait for the catch.
"Hi," one of the girls said, shaking me from my thoughts. I recognized her and her companions from the night before. The girl who had spoken had dark hair and was garbed in a black tank-top and white sweats, the opposite of mine.
"Hi," I greeted in return. The other two teens were M'gaan and a very buff teenage boy. "I'll be out of your was in a sec. Just cooling down." I took another swig of water and began to leave.
"Are anda limping?" asked black tank. I glanced down at my ankle, then nodded. "Sprang it on the roof last night."
The girl came over to me, squatted down, and whispered under her breath. Immediately the pain recceaded until it was gone. "How did anda do that?" I asked, half astounded and half suspicious.
"Just a little magic trick I learned," she berkata standing. "I'm Becca sejak the way." She held out her hand. I shook it cautiously, "Silver Wings."
"I know," she said. "Wanna spar?" I looked questionably at my now-pain-free ankle.
"I won't use magic if you'd prefer," Becca reassured. I nodded, though still cautious.
"What's your hero I.D.?" I asked as we approached the simulation dock.
"Shade," Becca said. Then the room exploded in red light and blaring sirens.

Robin’s POV

He was so close I could’ve touched him. After I saw him enter the tent, I ran and hid in the bushes. I was really still and really quiet so that Bruce didn’t hear atau see me when he went past.

He finally gave up and went back into the tent, and that’s when I got out and ran as fast as I could. Now I’m in a city that I don’t know, and I’m sitting on the ground in an alley.

I’ve been on the road and in different cities for two weeks now. I’m trying not to think of Bruce atau my friends, but the lebih I see, the lebih I realize that I’m now alone.

I miss Bruce and the team....
