I range from sympathetic to brutally honest.

It really varies from person to person. Honest is the general one though

I usually try to be honest and constructive while also trying to stay polite.
I admit, though, I try a lot less to be nice/polite to people with whom I have a personal beef. I'm not often in that situation, though.

Generally I am honest to brutally honest. Imho I dont see a point in being too sympathetic. Maybe I have sympathetic mixed in depending on who is it though.

Same as 8, pretty much. I can be brutally honest as well though when I receive rudeness in exchange for my politeness or simply need to wake said person up, giving a push to a better outcome. Other than these, I don't see the point. Honesty by itself usually works just fine for me to spice it up. Sympathetic could serve as a second choice although it mostly depends on the occasion !!!!

Well irl I'm very non-confrontational so probs not even "honest". Seriously I just spent three weeks doing a clerkship in a law firm laughing at their anti-leftie jokes coz there's no well in hell I'm talking political opinions with strangers.

I try to be honest on the internet but I feel this sometimes verges into the "rude" territory which makes me feel shitty afterwards lol.
