Is it just me atau do anda get sad when a male Anime character starts crying?

I cry too anda are not alone!!!!!!! It is so sad seeing someone else cry right?

I get sad when ANY character cries~ -laughs lightly- I'm bit of a softie when it comes to crying so, chances are I may start crying atau I'll tear up a little. Though most of the time I'm like, "I want to hug you!!"

I did cry at a scene from a NON-anime movie the other night when the main male character cried.)

Yeppers, I cry a lot with clannad seriously when Tomoya cried for Nagisa and Ushio's death I seriously cried so much XC. But also in Naruto when Sasuke cried for Itachi cause Madara\Obito\Tobi (whatever il just call him obito cause its so obvious) I cried a lot I felt really bad for sasuke. Ok, I should Stop talking now. XD

Like others said, only Clannad. For some reason, even though I watched clannad over 2 years ago, i always remember this ONE scene, right after Nagisa died, and Tomoya is sitting with Nagisa's mom at some cafe, and Tomoya sees this kid playing with his mom, and he gets this really sad look on his face and Nagisa's mom ( i forget her name... XD) gives him a understanding look.... that scene gets me every time!!!! DX i Cinta clannad.....the feels... -n-

To me,this makes no sense.What's the difference between a male character and female crying?

For me it really depends on the character and the reason they are crying and how often they cry. It also depends on the Anime as well, One Piece for example is a -relatively- upbeat and silly Anime along with Luffy but when the whole Ace thing happened and when he loses his crew it just hits me so hard. I mean after so many episodes and scenes of funny-ness and badass-ness anda kind of get used to it and than all of a sudden it's like bam. After seeing the Most Badass captain who is always smiling, laughing and eating meat finally cry and and look so helpless and scared it just broke my heart.

I never really cry with any book atau film usually, I do feel sad if it is a character that I like is crying though. The closest I ever got to crying in anime/manga was in Fruits Basket, and I kind of felt my eyes burn a bit in parts, but that was it. I don't tend to get really emotional with most things, although I must say Anime and Manga can certainly be emotional.

i have seen lots of Anime and in those anime's i saw lots of boy's died it was so SAD T^T
and when ever i saw an Anime boy crying i cried also its just so many feels and made me lebih cry also.

Hmm, it does make me sad seeing an Anime boy crying, ESPECIALLY if he's cute ^^, BUT!! When I see "bad" boys crying I laugh at them because, I don't know... It's kinda funny how they're being emotionless all the time and then anda see them crying. I find it funny, but it's kinda cute too. They express they're feelings in front of people (and if they're alone, in front of the camera XD).

I usually get sad when any character cries..not just not Anime guys,not just Anime girls,both depending on the situation it always makes me feel sorry for them and I just want to go up to them and say everything is all right..or something like that. but either way I know you're definitely not alone on that!

Ok sometimes I laugh at funny pictures of male Anime characters crying but if it's really dramatic then yes I'm sad

the only time i cried during a movie was the part of DaYu bt it was chinese so

I cry often when characters cry but in the case of a guy it hits harder due to the whole societal expectation that guys are supposed to be tough and never cry.
