Mine is Shirley from Code Geass
She has to be one of the most useless characters I have ever witnessed and she is only relevant to the plot sejak getting in Lelouch's way

Agreed. Now she can heal people and her fighting skill has gotten better. If she and her younger self fought she'd win sejak a landslide.

The Heroine from Amnesia is so useless... and the Anime revolves around her! That's how bad it is. I mean I know she has amnesia, but she has no personality, can't think for herself, never says lebih than 3 full words without saying "um" atau "uh", and never completes a sentence. We'd be better and get lebih out of it just watching the brick dinding behind her lebih than what we get out of her. Honestly, I think they could have made her not even there (have like an invisible-ghost like heroine) and the Anime would have run lebih interesting and smoother.

Agree so much !!! I'm watching it right now and honestly, even though it's based on an Otome Game, at least make her talk instead of constant "um"s !!! Like if you're going to make an Anime based on a dating sim, at least do it right. (coughs like KnA did)

Glad anda agree! I like the Anime keseluruhan and the twist at the end is interesting but it's just sad cause it could have been a lot better. There are lots of dating sims that have way better adaptions than Amnesia. Brothers Conflict is prob one of the best ones I've seen

Every chance she gets to tunjuk off her talents, something either happens to prevent it, atau she ends up helping "in secret" without the other characters knowing about her contributions to the battle. So, she's not "totally" useless, but sometimes she is, and nobody knows about it when she's not.

Okay, okay, there are characters who are useless as in, they aren't needed for the plot progression of their respective series in any way, but, I get sensitive around the use of the world "useless" because it's a word I often use when describing myself. :p

It's just that some characters kinda take away from their Anime (and a lot are some main characters). But I see this as a mistake in the making of the anime. ALL the Anime above I think are great Anime but I think they could have been even better if the animasi studios would have thought a little bit lebih in what the characters were doing. So I wouldn't take it the way anda are, it’s just a misguidance with the storyboard and animasi teams. And I guess it goes to tunjuk everyone makes mistakes but really NO ONE is useless.
