Since I'm a peminat of the Harry Potter book series, I've decided to do a series of artikel-artikel interpreting Disney characters into the Hogwarts Houses. I'll be doing all the princesses and princes, and maybe some side characters and villains. This article'll just be the Renaissance Princesses, since the descriptions are going to be pretty lengthy and I doubt anda guys could handle Membaca another of my super long articles. If anda don't like Harry Potter anda might be a bit confused, but if anda have basic knowledge of the houses you'll be fine. Oh, and all of this is just my opinion.
Also, just for reference, here are the qualities looked for for each house:
Gryffindor House values bravery, daring, nerve, and chivalry. These traits can sometimes bring the members of this House to the point of recklessness.
Hufflepuff House for the most part contains people who are hard-working, friendly, loyal, modest, honest and impartial. They are often overlooked because of their lack of daring and ambition.
Ravenclaw House prizes learning, wisdom, wit, and intellect in its members. Therefore Ravenclaws can be over-obsessed with their work and rather competitive.
Slytherin House usually has people who are ambitious, shrewd, cunning, strong leaders, and achievement-oriented. They can be too judgmental of those not of noble blood, and can be quite sinister due to their dedication to get what they want at all costs.
Okay, now that we know what kind of traits the Houses are looking for, we can see who would be in which House. So, without further ado, let's begin!
Ariel is a...
Gryffindor!
Ariel is an obvious Gryffindor. She's brave, as evidenced sejak that whole yu, ikan jerung thing. She's reckless, showcased sejak her deal with Ursula, and she's rather bold and a bit short-tempered, standing up to her father. Daring and heroic, Ariel would fit in perfectly with the Gryffindors.
Second Choice: Slytherin
I actually considered making Ariel a Slytherin, before I realized how many Gryffindor qualities she has. But she wouldn't be a bad Slytherin, that's for sure. She's ambitious, and absolutely focused on achieving what she wants. And she is cunning, in the sense that she was sort of tricking Eric the whole time.
Third Choice: Ravenclaw
I don't think Ariel would be much of a Ravenclaw. She isn't really wise atau witty, and she doesn't seem to care much for authority. However, she is curious about all of the human world's 'thing-a-ma-bobs', which counts for something.
Fourth Choice: Hufflepuff
I think Ariel wouldn't be able to fit in Hufflepuff, but she'd do alright, I suppose. I mean, at least she's kinda friendly.
Belle is a...
Ravenclaw!
To be honest, I wasn't sure which house Belle would fit best in. I mean, she'd kind of do well in all of the houses. But I ended up putting her in this one. Because Ravenclaw House values intelligence, knowledge and wit above all else, and Belle has those three qualities in abundance, as shown many times throughout the film.
Second Choice: Gryffindor
A very close second. Belle is bold and daring, as shown sejak her treatment of those who are rude to her atau her family. And she's chivalrous, evidenced sejak her immediate agreement to take her father's place. She can also make rash decisions at times, such as her rushing from the istana, castle after the West Wing encounter.
Third Choice: Slytherin
Like I said, Belle would do well in any of the Houses. But she's lebih of a Slytherin than a Hufflepuff. Belle is shrewd, cunning and resourceful, traits best revealed sejak how she handled Gaston and how she convinced Cogsworth to give her a tour of the castle.
Fourth Choice: Hufflepuff
Although this is my fourth choice for Belle, I think she'd make a good Hufflepuff. She's loyal and tolerant, shown sejak her treatment of the Beast, at least once he starts respecting her. And she's kind and friendly, as Disney Princesses are wont to be.
Jasmine is a...
Slytherin!
And when I say 'Slytherin', I mean 'so nearly a Gryffindor that I wish she could have two houses'. But I did some soul-searching, and decided that melati, jasmine is a bit lebih cunning and resourceful than she is daring and reckless. She is obviously adept at tricking others, and even when it isn't her trick, like when Aladdin tried to pass her off as mentally inferior in order to save her hand, she plays her part well. And she herself says that she's a fast learner.
Second Choice: Gryffindor
Another close second. She isn't as rash atau reckless as Ariel, but she is still quite short-tempered. And she also shows herself to be chivalrous when she gives the young hungry child the apple.
Third Choice: Ravenclaw
melati, jasmine doesn't fit in Ravenclaw atau Hufflepuff as well as she does Gryffindor and Slytherin, but I think she'd excel in Ravenclaw over Hufflepuff because of her sassy wit and adeptness at learning new things.
Fourth Choice: Hufflepuff
I don't think melati, jasmine would fit in Hufflepuff at all. She isn't particularly hard-working, friendly, loyal, atau honest, and she'd do better in the other houses.
Pocahontas is a…
Gryffindor!
Yeah, I'm pretty sure Pocahontas is usually pegged as Ravenclaw, but to me that seems lebih like the Wise Native trope than anything to do with the character. So, I think she's a Gryffindor. She shows that she has nerve and daring, running around talking to strangers and jumping off cliffs, and she's chivalrous to the point of recklessness, doing things like stopping John Smith's execution at risk to her own personal safety.
Second Choice: Ravenclaw
I wasn't really sure about what my placements for her other choices would be, but I think that she'd be a Ravenclaw if she wasn't a Gryffindor. She seems wise about being good to nature, and she shows intelligence in that she thinks very carefully before she acts.
Third Choice: Hufflepuff
This house is my third choice for her lebih because of her loyalty than anything else. She's loyal to John Smith, shown when she tells her father that he'd have to kill her to kill him, but also loyal to her tribe when she stays behind when John leaves. She's also shown to be pretty honest, and easy to get to know considering her closeness with Nakoma.
Fourth Choice: Slytherin
Poca wouldn't make much of a Slytherin. She isn't really cunning atau ambitious, and she shows the exact opposite atau good leadership skills.
Mulan is a…
Hufflepuff!
This is actually the placement I'm the least sure about. Mulan is a complicated one. But, throughout her movie she shows that she's loyal and unafraid of toil. She also seems to be an essentially honest and genial girl, although she attempts to act tough while disguised as a man. In addition, Mulan is never really competitive while training, and even after she saves China she is quite modest about her achievement.
Second Choice: Gryffindor
Ah yes, the one everyone expected me to pick as Mulan's house. I think Mulan would be a pretty good Gryffindor though, she shows that she's Brave and chivalrous when she joins the army in her father's place, and is daring enough to go back to the palace when she finds out about the Huns and, when no one believes her, goes to fight them herself.
Third Choice: Slytherin
Probably another popular choice for her. Mulan is clever and cunning enough to pass as a man in the army (although she does kinda fail at that), and she shows very good leadership qualities in the climax of the movie. She's also determined, and resourceful as shown when she uses a peminat to fight Shan Yu.
Fourth Choice: Ravenclaw
Mulan, like Belle, kind of fits into all the houses to some extent, but she's less of a Ravenclaw. While she's certainly clever and intuitive, she isn't particularly witty atau wise, and just fits into the others more.
So, that's the sorting for the Renaissance DPs: two Gryffindors, one Ravenclaw, one Slytherin and one Hufflepuff. I'm sure some of anda will disagree with my placements, but nonetheless I hope anda enjoyed my artikel and bothered to read the whole thing through.

If I choose wrong, I will feel my Father’s wrath.
He simply won’t understand,
And will insist that I do as he commands.
Deep down in my hati, tengah-tengah I know that it’s right,
And I am willing to put up a fight.
I fell for a pale face.
The feelings I have can’t be erased.
I have shown him all the Warna of the wind,
And he was finally able to comprehend.
We could have one adventure after the other.
I never want to be with another.
I told my Father I don’t want to marry Kocoum,
But he doesn’t know where I’m coming from.
I have to keep our two worlds from going to war.
They must know we don’t have to fight anymore.
I must create peace,
atau the hate will just increase.
They have to see my side,
atau else our Cinta will be denied.
hei everybody! Happy DMLK day! I'll celebrate sejak some mixed people...
Lottie and Tia!
I like that even in their racist times Tiana and Lottie were Friends all the way... I'm sure in events before the movie, Charlotte's light skinned Friends judged her because she was Friends with Tia and Tia's darker dark skinned Friends didn't trust Lottie... I found this relationship sweet... she even risked a life-long dream for Tia. Can this friendship get anymore sweeter???
:') They've been Friends since they were 5 atau 7... unlike Pocahontas and her BFF... we don't know a lot about them... she seemed like a character after those sailors... but Lottie and Tia have that kind of friendship. The highlight is their times. Talk about racist! So yeah that's it!
This Friendship is perfect for today!
[I] I'll do it but for anda Tia, no marriage included![I]

Well, Om Nelle may not be a Disney princess, but Mulan isn't actually a princess either. Her heroism made Mulan a princess, even though she had nothing to do with the royal family. Om Nelle does a lot of heroics. Just like a Mulan. Moreover, it even has a crown. A tiara with a cute blue stone. But there are a few problems. For example, this crown is actually a belt. Also, even if this was a real crown, Om Nelle has nothing to do with royalty. Om Nelle is a creature, so not a human. That's okay because Nala in The Lion King is also an animal but is considered a Disney Princess. Now the only problem is, Disney didn't create Om Nelle. So she may be a princess in her own right, but never a Disney princess. She would still make a great Disney princess out of her.
