Animaluco picked Tiana:
Her movie wasn't that sucessful, and I think that she's already been a little forgotten in these two years.

tiagih picked Rapunzel:
Her or Tiana
Rap-She is too much of a Snow White(innocent)+Ariel(spunk)combo and she is not so original as the other characters before her
Tiana-although she is the first black princess, her "all work and no fun" doesn't relate to the little audience plus the fact that she was a frog most of the time I won't always remember her face

I just think Rapunzel won't stand out in the long scheme of things. I don't think the movie being in 3D or computer animation will be SUPER impressive, unlike Snow White, who was the first princess EVER.

ArielandEric picked Rapunzel:
Personally I feel that Belle will stay as popular as she is now, Tiana will be remembered as the "black princess", Mulan as the Asian, Pocahontas as the Native American, Jasmine as the Arabian, and Ariel as the mermaid. Rapunzel I just think will fade out. Cinderella maybe and possibly Aurora. And by no intent was the comment meant to be discrimative.

Animaluco picked Tiana:
I think that only disney's "Fab Five" will really last that long: Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel and Belle. Jasmine, Pocahontas, Mulan, Tiana and Rapunzel are more "fragile".

Mongoose09 picked Rapunzel:
Definitely NOT Cinderella (VERY iconic, everyone knows her and I'm sure it'll stay that way for a long time) Snow White (first Disney movie EVER) or Ariel (mermaid)
Belle probably wouldn't be forgotten because I think her movie would still be very popular long into the future. She will be remembered because of her movie.
Jasmine probably won't be forgotten simply because of Aladdin - I doubt people will forget him unless Gilderoy Lockhart obliviates everyone who's heard of him. If it wasn't for Aladdin.. then maybe. But with Aladdin, no. People will know Aladdin/Jasmine.
Can't see people forgetting Mulan - *MAYBE* (a big maybe) Disney's version, but not Mulan in general because she's a legendary "figure". A similar thing applies to Pocahontas, since she's actually based on a historic & real person, so I think people are likely to remember the Disney version of Poca because of that. If it wasn't based on a true story then I think she'd probably be forgotten sooner than the others.
Tiana, maybe, but I think people would remember her for being the first black Princess - maybe not by name, but by character. If that makes sense.
I doubt Aurora will be forgotten - possibly her name etc, but I think people would remember/know Disney's Sleeping Beauty. I'm actually not sure on her, though. :/
So that leaves Rapunzel. Obviously people won't forget the classic Rapunzel, she'll live on forever, but will Disney's Rapunzel? Probably not. I don't think her movie will ever be considered as big a classic as the others (even PatF) so I think it could be overshadowed and forgotten about by a lot of people. She certainly won't be forgotten anytime soon, but I think she'd be the first one people would forget about, IF ANY.
*babbling on sorry*

It's a really good movie and I enjoy it a lot but it wasn't anything groundbreaking. I think that the fact the movie is called tangled instead of Rapunzel will make it easier to forget since the other princess movies are named from their classic fairy tale, historical figure, legend etc so when you think of the story you remember the princess's movie if that makes sense.

I disagree about Rapunzel being forgotten about but that's me. Tangled did extremely well in theaters way better then Princess and the Frog did.I think since Rapunzel story is been around forever I don't think she really be forgotten about. I say maybe Princess and the Frog and Pocahontas and Mulan would probblely would because their stories is not as popular as Rapunzel,Cinderella,Sleeping Beauty,Snow White,The Little Mermaid,Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin. There stories been around forever and mostly still remembered and still will be.But Princess and the Frog and Mulan and Pocahontas stories are not as popular not much well told alot about compare to the others.Pocahontas would only be known manily in history classes but that be the extent of it.But it's hard to say what could happen in future.

Rapunzel, Tiana and Pocahontas, definitely. I hardly ever think of Pocahontas when I think "disney princess" and Rapunzel seems to not have that popularity yet. She might in the future but i dont think so. Tiana is just not popular period. She doesn't have that huge fan base like the other princesses have

not Rapunzel. she is very popular. just not on fanpop that much. But anyways maybe Tiana. But she is the first black princess. But if they make a new black princess then Tiana will be forgotten cause she is not that popular already.

Cinderella will definitely not be forgotten! She's the most likely to be remembered.
I just don't think Tiana had as much impact on Disney as the other princesses did

Unfortunately, I think Mulan and Pocahontas. None of my little cousins, or my friends kids really know who they are, and they aren't included in most of the merchandise. It's a shame :/

heathersvan picked Pocahontas:
Pocahontas, Jasmine, or Mulan. Poca and Mulan b/c technically they aren't really princesses, and people love princesses. And Jasmine b/c she's a deuteragonist. Besides, in about 20 years people are going to be so obsessed with political correctness that no one will be allowed to watch Aladdin, anymore..

hajirah4 picked Aurora:
Rapunzel and tiana...really??? the just came out like a few years ago. and they relate more to real life. mulan is asian and china is like the most populated place in the world AND it has the best technology. so if any country will have flying cars in the future, BAM! Rapunzel is from the grimms tales, aslo cinderella, snow white and aurora. (however for aurora) theres native people in the world and maybe if they don't remember , then somebody has to for the amazing animation HAND DRAWN. Jasmine is from the middle east and there are a lot of people in the middle east and america that can remember her, because of the arabian nights!!! Tiana is from america so i doubt she'd be forgotten. the little mermaid is one of the best fairytales told, which leaves us with aurora. she doesn't have much personality so how can people tell her from the rest???? she didn't have much screentime either.
