Basically:
- Doric: simple but sweet. A trendsetter.
- Ionic: scrolly boi
- Corinthian: F A N C Y boi

Doric was the earliest style - they had a simple capital at the top and were tapered so they grew wider at the base. Ionic came after that: they were thinner than the Doric style and the capital was decorated with scrolls in either side. The Corinthian style flourished in the late era of classical Greece (and later during the Roman period) and was the most decorative, with scrolls and leaves of the acanthus plant.

@kuro Lolol Greek- and Italian-Australians were notorious for building houses with actual pillars and balustrades and fucking lion sculptures back in the 60s and 70s when they migrated out. It's become a literal meme here lmao. There are entire facebook pages about it. link. Honestly a staple of Australian culture:')
