"Jessica and Bryan." Mrs. M called. Jess and Bryan went up to get their cards, and I saw something spark in Jess's eyes like she was excited aobut her role, but nobody knew what their roles were.

"Brittani and Douglas."

I stayed, clinging to my seat, holding on to the vinyl sejak my fingernails. Doug got up, and pulled my arm to get me off. For a fourteen tahun old jock, he is strong.

I nervously walked up to Mrs. M and got my card, adn sat down.

"Ok, open your cards." Mrs. M said. Everyone else did as she told them to, I just stood there with my card. Then, I opened it.

"In these cards, are your roles. I will point to anda in whatever order I choose. When I do, give me your role. Jessica."

"Bridgette." She berkata emotionless. Jessica usually is kinda emotionless, but only in certain situations like this.

"Bryan." Mrs. M said.

"Justin." Bryan answered, kinda excited but kinda peeved off at the same time.

"Rachel."

"Heather." Rachel said. I laughed a bit to myself, then she laughed to herself.

"Caitlyn."

"Isabelle." Cait said, excitedly. I didn't know if that was just her hormones atau something, because she's typically nuts.

"Douglas."

Then, time stopped for a sec, then started up again. Suspensefully, Douglas opened his envelope, looked at his card, and a small smirk played across his lips. "Duncan."

He turned his head a bit and looked at me.

"What?!" I asked impatiently.

"You'll find out, Princess." he smirked and turned his head back to Mrs. M, who was scribbling something down on a clipboard.

"Brittani." Mrs. M didn't look up from her writing. I looked at Douglas and narrowed my eyes at him, then opened my envelope. I looked at the card.

"Courtney...?" I said, unsure of who Courtney was.

Then, everybody but me, Mrs M, and Douglas, gasped at my answer.

"WHAT?!?" I asked again.

Caitlyn, Jess and Rachel darted up to me. "DUH! Courtney?!?" Caitlyn asked.

"I don't know who she is, and I've never even seen this stupid show." I scoffed. "You guys are weird."

I started to walk away, then only Rachel stopped me. "Yeah, um, ok..." she started. "You're not gonna like this."

"What?!" I asked impatiently again.

"See...Courtney and Duncan are a couple." she bit her bottom lip.

"Where are anda going with this?" I asked nervously.

"Yeah, um....You and Douglas have to kiss." she said, then there was a long silence in the room. Nobody moved, nobody even breathed loud enough to be slightly heard. Then I turned my head angrily at Douglas, who was smirking, and I could tell he switched my card.

"You didn't....." I said, angrily. My face turned red with anger, my blood boiled. Then his smirk fell and he looked at me, terrified.

I screamed in anger, then he screamed in fear and ran down the hall, and I ran after him. He was the fastest runner in my class, and I was the third, but this was no excuse to be slower than him.

I hurdled over chairs, hot on his tail. He didn't dare look back, because he hotly knew that I was right there. Everybody else was running out of the building to watch as I chased Doug out into the empty parking lot.

"Damn!" Bryan said. "What, is this girl a track star?!?"

Caitlyn scoffed. "You should see her at school. She leaves trails of api, kebakaran behind her."

I willed my long legs to run faster. My vision blurred, my head throbbed, and my hati, tengah-tengah pounded so hard that my rib cage hurt.

Then, Douglas collapsed to the ground, thirty feet ahead of me, then I fainted and collapsed on bahagian, atas of him.

He was NOT getting out of this one.
