I don't think people appreciate Esme as much as the other characters therefore I think she's under-rated :)

I don't think people hate Jacob himself, it's more the fact that it's a love triangle and people just like Edward and Bella, they see him as an obstacle maybe...I don't really know.

I was gonna say the same thing but add...If she wasn't there there wouldn't be a Cullen FAMILY! It would be a coven. But because of her love all of the Cullens stay together happy and loving each other! :D

How can ppl say Jacob is underrated, this whole story is based around Edward, Bella, and Jacob, you always hear about them. You don't hear too much about Jazz, Emette, Esme, Rose,Carlise,or Alice. All of these guys are highly over looked and the sad thing is they're all way more interesting. Jazz, in my opnion is more underrated then any of them. He's given very little time in the book. You hear his back story in Eclipse, but after that, he's not even a foot note anymore.

Impulse85, he is under-rated in the sense that tons of people hate him. Just because he's a main character, and you always hear about him, that doesn't mean he's not under-rated. Most of the stuff you hear about him is negative anyway. Jasper would be my second option!

I personally think Emmett is really good looking.. one of the best. But he gets overlooked over Edward and Jacob but I think Emmett's much better looking.
