anda know with stories how anda can put poems in manuscript? well, are anda allowed to put song verses in them? cuz the story that im Penulisan right now is heavily inspired sejak Evanescence, and so i put some of their song verses in the story. is this allowed? atau do i need to get permission?

cuz songs are still poems, just MUSICAL ones

I don't think anda should give up hope just yet. I think anda can include a small portion of the song/poem, but over a certain amount of lines anda have to pay royalties. Also, anda might be able to reference the song without actually using the song. So, anda might be able to say the title. However, I'm not an expert, so keep looking into it. anda might be able to finish your story without quoting the song. If anda publish, anda can always acknowledge the song in your thank you's. just like center it and put it in italics and then put a dash atau squiggle (~) and say "whatever song sejak whoever" and it'll prolly be fine and dandy
