There are so many to choose from ,and so many that anda can mix together! I think a setting is the hardest part of a story to decide on when writing. I do really enjoy medieval because it just makes everything so much lebih mysterious with dim lights from torches and the action from swords atau even the idea of royalty and kingdoms is incredible. But I would have to say that the best setting would be anything that gets the reader curious atau drawn in. Anything that is upbeat and action-packed has to be the best. Hope I helped! (:
I don't really have one. For me, it's whatever feels right for my story. Like right now I'm Penulisan a story that I haven't decided a proper time period for but it's some menyeberang, cross between early WW2 and 2004. Another story I'm Penulisan takes place in 2050. So yeah, whatever the story needs it to be.
