“Madison, I Cinta you.” Those were his last words. He lay there in his katil slowly dying. The girl was sejak his side on her little knees. His hand was touching her cheek. After a few minit of silence, he man became still. His fingers did not move. His muffled breathing could no longer be heard. His brown eyes no longer could be seen. She cried, got in katil with the body and hugged him. “I Cinta anda too daddy.”
Chapter 1
My name's Madison. I was eleven when my life ended. I died. My childhood was over. Every person's worst nightmare was my reality. It all started after my dad died. My protection was gone. My hati, tengah-tengah was empty. The saat of my problems began at the orphanage I lived in.
"What up, bitch?" Vanessa said. Vanessa was basically the bully of the girls, while the boys had Ox. I was playing with the dominos in the table. Lining them up, knocking them down, all in an endless cycle. I didn't look up at her. I sat with my face buried in my arm.
She pushed me off the chair and laughed. I got back and resumed knocking down my dominos until she threw them at me. Luckily they didn't hit my face, only my stomach. She had a really bad aim. I couldn't cry, because I had to be strong. I went to my katil upstairs and fell asleep.
I got to go out with my mentor, Christy. She was a nice lady. She took me out for Happy Meals at McDonald's. I liked being with her. She took me away from the drama of the orphanage and being alone. I felt like I had someone I could trust. The great thing was she was an orphan just like me so I could relate to her. Once before she had told me the story of how her dad died in a car crash. She was my best friend — and it was all gone in a flash.
The night that Christy was supposed to take me out for a milkshake, Vanessa had told me something I didn't wanna hear.
"Ey, bitch. C'mere." She said.
I walked slowly to her because I was afraid to see a fist.
"I'm not gonna hurt anda right now."
"What is it?"
"Your 'friend' does have a dad."
"Did."
"Listen. To. Me. She DOES have a dad. She's lyin' straight through her teeth to anda and ya still believe her. Wow. What a dumbass." She left me standing there in awe.
Later that night Christy took me out. The milkshake place wasn't too far from the orphanage but we still rode in a car. I didn't look at her because I didn't know what to believe. Finally my emotions got the best of me.
"Why would anda lie to me?" I said.
"About what?" She asked.
"That your dad's still alive." I said.
She parked in the space.
"Where'd anda hear that from?"
"So it's true isn't it?!"
"Sweetie.. anda have to understand..."
"No. YOU have to understand. Why would anda lie to me? anda don't think I can handle the truth?"
"I just wanted anda to feel like anda weren't alone."
"I know that! I live in a place with 89 kids WITHOUT moms and dads."
"And anda could have a mother figure that's like you."
"I would do anything, ANYTHING to have my dad again. I don't need you."
I took my seatbelt off and got out of the car. I ran away into the darkness.

"Oh my gawd! Lauren, anda like Jack?!" berkata Koshi. I blushed and replied,"... Yeah, so what?" she gave me a puzzled look, and then she caught up with my soalan of curiosity and rolled her eyes and said, "So what? Do anda even know the reason why it's a problem?" I shrug and say, "No," her face starts to get red like a cherry. I menyeberang, cross my arms, and shifted my weight on my left leg. "Why? Is it a problem if I like Jack?" Koshi looked down and looked at me like I should've heard."He wasn't a good boyfriend." I raised my eyebrows. What? Why hasn't anybody told me that Koshi and Jack were going out? Why? "Oh.My.GAWD!"
