Giselle wasn't truly my fav, but I won't argue with anyone or Disney if she ever became an official Disney Princess. I know you meant one, but all four of these ladies are awesome (my opinion).

Esmeralda: Was a princess until "Lust" pulled her out, but she put her life in danger and saved Paris from the lust hungry Frollo.

Meg: She sacrificed her life for her true love and in actuality gave Hercules his powers back to save Olympus. So in a way she helped save Olympus.

Jane: Though little helped, she rescued Tarzan and the Jungle even to a point of staying with him and leaving the life of Luxury she once had to be with a man in nothing but a loin cloth.

Kida: Although she was unable to stop it she became Atlantis salvation by saving the light energy that kept them alive for years. She save her civilization from the help of Milo.
