Edward wouldn't be considered an "eternity of emptienss" in the first place. If anda Cinta someone anda wan't to be with them forever right? So Jacob would be worse. Why spend a lifetime with someone anda don't Cinta when anda can spend an eternity with someone anda do love?

Bella loved and choose Edward....how would that be an eternity of emptiness? And even though I like Jacob...what would have happened if Bella choose him...and even though he loved Bella he 'imprinted' on someone else like Sam did? It would kill Jacob because he had such a big heart...he would never have been able to live with himself for having to leave and hurt her that way.
