Hate him and Cinta him. He's a jerk but he's also very sweet when he needs/can be. His character shifts throughout the series, like in Breaking Dawn...so, technically, the answer's hate and love.
Jacob DOESN'T "get in Bella's way". What the hell? What is he supposed to do? Edward leaves her and she goes running to him. They become best friends, and he falls in Cinta with her in the process. She fell in Cinta with him in the process. It's proven people, she says this in Eclipse, she feels it.
How is he getting in the way? Are anda talking about how he is "in the way" of her being with Edward? He wasn't. Of course he was going to fight for he, he was in Cinta with her. But it was always Bella's choice. If she wanted Jacob out of her life, she just could have told him. She didn't.
If anda meant he was "getting in the way" of her becoming a vampire, what was he supposed to do. He's a werewolf, they kill vampires, she wanted to become a vampire. sejak Edward turning Bella, he broke the treaty. This meant the Serigala Jadian would fight the vampires, and Jacob would have to fight too. Obviously he wouldn't want the girl he loves to turn into his mortal enemy.
& Really, let's face it. If Jacob wasn't in the books, the story wouldn't be complete. Bella probably would have killed herself in NM, I'm almost positive of it. Even if she didn't this is how NM would go without Jacob: Edward breaks up with her. November. December. January. February. March. April, etc. Edward's back! Yay! *End of book*.

I'm glad no one else on Team Jacob thought it would fit to defend him here, I guess I'm alone. And even the people that "like" Jacob, they didn't even defend him. Sorry, I'm irritable today.
Im not team Jacob, but THANK YOU!!! I might Cinta Edward, but I also adore Jacob for all that he is and what he does for Bella. Even though I think she is better with Edward, Jacob is amazing too!!
I hate him too... well not hate him but i dont see why he cant just give up... if she is happy with edward he shouldnt be making it complicated and getting in the way.. using the guilt card he should just give up.. thats one of the reasons im team edward... edward just wants her to be happy so if she chooses Jake he isnt going to do anything harsh atau something to stop her.. he just wants her happy... and all Jake wants is for her to choose him.. to him it seems it dosent matter if she is happy with edward atau not he would rather she die then be with him... she wants her to choose himself rather than Edward even if she is happier with edward.. then again thats what it seems like to me...
no I agree with anda he really annoyed me in Eclipse using the "guilt" card way too much on Bella me personaly I think she made up her mind about Edward in New Moon & in Breaking Dawn he doesn't deserve who he imprints.
I agree that's one of the reasons i don't like Jacob he always has a game plan to get Bella away from Edward. I mean it bella's life not his and i no he's worried about losing his friendship wiv her but if ur really someones friend then u will be that persons friend no matter wat atau who they are. Jacob also make Bella feel really guitly in Eclipse and he gets wat he wants out of it (a Ciuman off bella).

Nope it's not just anda I hate jacob for being so stubborn I don't understand why he can't accept that Bella loves Edward and not him. He should just leave Edward and Bella alone and wait until Renesmee comes. He irritated me so much in Eclipse "tricking" bella into Ciuman him and Berlakon so whiny when he found out Bella was marrying Edward, I mean didn't he see in coming. That is why I am team Edward forever Edward would never act like that he would respect Bella's desicion and would never let Bella know how much it would hurt him because he would never put Bella through that kind of pain,... unlike Jacob!!!<3
I hate Jacob. He is so cocky and annoying throughout the series. He is totally dense and does not know when to walk away. It was obvious the Bella wants Edward. But he just couldn't comprehend that.

I am totally "team Edward" but I also adore Jacob. Who could hate him?? I mean, he is her BEST FRIEND!! He just loves her and wants to take care of her too. Its not like she ever told him not to. If she had, maybe he would have backed off. The only thing I dont like about him is when he bad mouths the Cullens in front of her. Thats a little uncalled for...
Ohhhhkay... I dont think he gets in "bellas way" either. In NM edward left her.. bella needed a friend.. Jake was her bestfriend.. Jake helped her thru her depression.. thats what a good friend does.. Its not his fault that Bella fell in Cinta with him.. and its not her fault that Jake fell in Cinta with her.. so ed comes back at the end and now she wants to be with him atau w/e.. jake is not forcing bella to stay with him. Its HER decision.. he's just trying to protect her. I dont see nothing wrong w/that. Plus if Jake wasn't in this story...It wouldnt be much of a story. :P

lets put it this way if anda were in Cinta with someone who was about to turn into a vampire wouldnt anda try to tunjuk them what might be the better choice? im sure anda wouldnt just sit on the side lines and not "get in thats persons way!"
