Why is Laurent black?[not be racist,but] Aren't ALL Vampires supposed to be pale?

not all vamps are pale there are black ones(not trying to be racist) they just have a pale undertone! (i was really impressed with it in the movie)

Well, I guess that not all Twilight Vampires have to be pale from...well, what anda just said; Laurent is black. Perhaps whether a vampire becomes pale atau not depends on his/her ethnicity. If a vampire was Caucasian atau Asian, any ethnic background that allows them to have white skin, then maybe they are the ones who are shockingly pale. However, if a vampire was African-American atau Hispanic atau any other ethnicity that makes the person have a dark skin color, they keep the skin color they had when they were human. So maybe this explains why Laurent, unlike most vampires, is so dark skinned.

And don't worry, it doesn't sound racist at all! That's actually a pretty good soalan to me :)

so totally weird!!!! When i saw the movie i was like,OMG so weird!!!!!

well he was a black human so he would only look a little pale. and wasnt Laurent sapposed to be a white french man in the books?
