Is time travel possible?

Time is relative. It goes faster, atau slower, depending on your center of gravity. Synchronize an atomic watch with a friend. Then, have that friend get in an airplane for an hour. After s/he lands, compare your times. You'll find that your friend's watch is a couple of milliseconds ahead of your watch.

The reason for this is because gravity affects time like it affects everything else around it. Things bend around a center of gravity - it's why satellites and planets orbit instead of crash into the body they're orbiting.

The closer anda get to the event horizon of a black hole, the slower time becomes. Now assuming anda could physically survive being so near to the crushing magnitude of that phenomenon, let's place an astronaut relatively close to that event horizon (yes, physically impossible, but menanggung, bear with me). Have that astronaut's lifeline be tethered to a ship that is hanging out MUCH farther away from the black hole, at a selamat, peti deposit keselamatan distance. From the spaceship's perspective, stay there for twenty years, refueling and re-staffing as needed, but keep that astronaut out there, tethered. Finally, anda reel him in. From his perspective, he has been out there for an hour. Comfortable. Maybe a little hungry. But for the people on the ship, twenty years have passed. That sounds like time travel to me.

This is a drastic example. Nothing in nature (outside of a black hole) has THIS big of an effect on time. And even if it did, it would have to have the same drastic effect on everything ELSE around it (matter, energy, space, etc) JUST like a black hole. Which is why man-made time travel in that way is probably never going to happen.

But DOES it happen, in nature? CAN it happen? Of course. We time travel every time we step foot on an airplane. But the "leap" into the future is so insignificant, it doesn't even register.

It will be. I will invent a time-travel machine in the future, and then use it to go back and give it to myself in the past. That way I won't have to invent it anymore, because I already have it. Think about that! ;)

First, is time real?
Is time only occurring in our minds as life goes on? What if it was nothing? No time is their, with nothing to age. Even if anda had a clock and calendar, it's created sejak human mind, and I've learned that a human can be quite stupid.

If we figured out all that out, then it's traveling through a non thing would be impossible. anda can't travel through it, over, under, atau even around it. anda can't feel it.
It isn't anything to go through.

Besides, if it were possible, we'd notice sejak now with the future people.

Let's say time travel was truly possibly. That would mean time is constantly replaying itself, atau anda could never go BACK to it. Past goes past. The future might be right now, atau the past.

Time travel is only in memories

Nope! Unless anda can create something that can bound time and angkasa continium and not that I think it couldn't it just... Is really hard to do :)

Im only thirteen but I believe once we can learn how to distort the angkasa time continuum we will be able to go backwards atau forwards sejak either speeding it up atau slowing it down. Its very complex tho so scientists might not be able to crack it yet. Wait another 10 years.

I doubt it. But man I wish it was. I am an extremely nostaglic person. I long for the past. I am fascinated sejak history, anything retro, any kind of antique, anda name it. The past is where I wish I was. I should have been born WAY before 1983. If time travel ever is discovered/invented, i'll be the 1st one to try it! :)

A qualified no from me; if time travel is the ability to actually revisit sebelumnya events and jump ahead to future events, then it is not possible. There are two ways of explaining it: perception, and the disposition of all matter.

The concept of time (as a sense of a continuous flow from past to future), like mathematics and history, is a wholly human construct. It is a necessary product of our consciousness and memory. While we have memory of the past (which is necessary for us to learn self-preservation), the past has no objective reality. Reality exists in the present; the future exists as our concept of what the present will become and the past is our memory of what the present was. To travel through time would require an ability to alih outside of the present reality into these areas of imagination and memory, for which there is no objective reality. Time has little meaning outside of our memory and awareness. Everything is moving, because we perceive moments to be contiguous. At this instant, all the matter in the universe is in one configuration. In another instant (what we perceive as "later"), all the matter in the universe is in another configuration. Time is what our memory tells us connects the two in a linear way.

Even if the discrete instances are connected in a linear way (as we can't help but interpret as true), really the only reality is the present instance. The instance of the universe that came before has been obliterated sejak the current instance, which will in turn be obliterated.
What this means is that only the current instant matters. There is no past atau future to travel to, though our memory retains the "snapshot" of what came before. If anda take an egg and break it, anda will never be able to revisit an instance where that egg is not broken. Similarly, anda can't jump to the instance where anda have an omelette made from that egg, because all the motion (from one instance of the universe to the next) is caused sejak particle and/or field collisions. The only way to arrive at the omelette is to alih the matter that actually cooks the egg. To do otherwise would require rearranging all the matter in the universe into a different configuration. That would be time travel, but you'd have no awareness of it, since the matter that is anda and your thoughts and memories would also have been rearranged to that same instant. To alter the universe and retain a sense of having done so, you'd also need to step outside the universe and then reinsert yourself after rearranging it.
